Really well-designed for both hanging and bottom-water. Plenty of drip space; sturdy chain.
A really nice set of simple hanging pots, with an excellent drip tray design which is useful for bottom watering. The bottom section has a locking tab that will stay in place when you twist the tray into position, which means you can load it up with some water, and let your plant drink from the bottom. I’m using mine to grow some mint cuttings for my bar and tiki garnish. The chains are sturdy, although they may rust in the elements–time will tell if I need to get new ones. But for now they are doing well. A 4 pack is good for this value, and for this design. They aren’t lovely pots necesssarily, but they get the job done and if your plant has cascading vines or flowers, you won’t notice. Happy to pick these up, and they are a 5 for me.

Excellent hanging planters
I love these hanging planters. They’re exactly what I needed and now they’re full of new strawberry plants!I like that they have metal chain hangers instead of the easily breakable plastic ones that many pots come with, because those always break quickly outdoors from the sun damage, I feel like these will last much longer.They have a removable base so that it can drain freely through the drainage holes at the bottom or you can put the base back on and it won’t drip, just watch how much you water your plants do you don’t get soggy bottoms and root rotI would definitely buy these pots again if I needed more.

Better than expected
I was gifted some lovely houseplants that are currently in small grow bags but are well-suited for hanging baskets. This set of four is going to be perfect for my needs.The description gives the dimensions of the pots, but I’m not very good at visualizing dimensions, and I was pleasantly surprised at how large they are. I was originally thinking I would have to split one plant across several planters, but each will fit nicely in its own basket.Everything appears to be of decent quality, with a middle-of-the-road weight—not too thin, but not heavy, either. They will support the soil and the plants, and I see no signs of stress or bending. The drain trays are helpful, since I plan to use these indoors. The only difficulty I’ve had with these planters is securing those trays. You fit a tab on the tray up into a slot on the basket, then rotate to lock in place (see image). I had a dickens of a time getting that to fit as intended, but I was finally able to press the basket down around each tab enough to get it to slide. The tray fits securely, though, and I have no worries that it will fall off.Overall, these planters have met my needs and exceeded my expectations. The value is excellent at $20 for four pots, and I would order again.

Sturdy hanging planters
These are decent quality plastic planters. I love that they come with self watering bottoms. The bottoms lock in place quite easily and have held up so far. The hangers are easy to attach and strong enough to support the planters, even when they are wet. The plastic material they are made from is thick and sturdy too. They aren’t the prettiest hanging planters I have ever seen but they do serve the purpose they are designed for. The current price of $29.99 seems pricey but, for four hanging planters it is an appropriate price.
