Jenn Scott –
Good enough for what you need it for.
I ordered this to put up in my office so I could see when people are sneaking up on me… or more likely, waiting for me to turn around. It’s fine. Serves its purpose but feels not the highest quality. When peeling off the protective film, I barely touched the mirror and it dented in. It popped back out but I thought it felt a bit cheap in that moment. The mounting hardware is decent. The mirror seems fairly low quality but I suppose you don’t really need a super incredible mirror for this sort of application. The mirror is able to move nicely with the pivot ball on the back. For the price, I think it’s a good value as it fulfills my need and was easy to install. For a higher quality mirror, I think you’d need to increase your price range dramatically and that seems kinda silly when you just need to see something behind you! I’d be wary of how this would hold up outdoors but for in my office, I’m not too worried.
