UPDATE Dec 2024: they’re dead —well, only *merely* dead, but almost most sincerely dead. I put them up at the end of November, and a couple of days ago they died. I thought they were off, but there is a super faint light coming from them, like if they had a “dim to .5% brightness” function. I thought maybe the plug was bad, so I switched it out for a different one. That wasn’t the problem. They only worked for 2 seasons (we didn’t use them in 2023). That sucks. I added the photos from this year.I’m a multicolor christmas tree person. I love the warm glow of multicolor incandescent Christmas lights, but they lose color (and lights) so fast, it gets expensive and not to mention hot; I don’t like multicolor LED Christmas lights, I don’t know what it is or why, they just don’t have that same warm glow. When you look at multicolor incandescent lights from a distance, the colors that are most noticeable are red, green and yellow’ish. Also red and green are a Christmas staple; so I’ve been trying to find a huge set of red/green/warm white (almost gold) LED lights for our 7.5ft Christmas tree. They don’t exist, unless you have hundreds of dollars for something like Twinkly ($90 for a string of 250?!). I had to improvise.I bought the red/green 1000 light set with the intention of adding the string of 1000 warm white LED lights I had bought from a different brand last year (which are more bright white than I’d like, but I wanted to use what I had before my husband had a coronary over Christmas lights). The red and green on their own aren’t super bright or glowy, but I genuinely believe that’s because they’re LEDs. Adding the string of white LEDs made a huge difference and I love it a lot! Does this set up have the classic incandescent glow? No, but it is definitely a beautiful compromise.

LOTS of lights for your money!
We got 3 packs in this order. I can’t remember how long they are exactly, but we got the longest ones. I was worried i wouldn’t have enough or they would be too short. I bought 2 rolls before this order but my old sets cords broke so we needed to order more. I need a LOT of light to come thro because of my bulb clusters or we wouldn’t have needed to use that many. Still, I only ended up using 4 of the 5 sets. That’s with me going up the middle of the tree. I love that they twinkle,flash, change colors and using the remote you can soften or brighten the lights. This is a 7.5 foot tree. This year we used a fake tree because I got tired of the fallout from real trees. The tree always dies before Christmas. Regardless how much you water it. Also, these lights don’t get as hot as the old school kind. I will say, these aren’t my absolute favorite, my favorite lights are the dot fairy lights. They blend seamlessly into your tree. The issue and why I didn’t order more of those, is because idc how careful you are the end breaks off. The wire that goes into the plug in part. Without failure they break. After 5 yrs, I got TIRED of replacing them. I had 1 set left this yr and of course, the cord snapped. These are not as thin as the dot lights. This cord has more girth to it so it’s harder to break. I was able to weave these lights in & out, side to side and shove them at the base of the tree and swirl them up and around the center without ANY LIGHTS or CORDS breaking.You get a lot of lights for your money.You can do a 7.5 tree using just two rolls depending how you wrap. I weave thro every branch side to side so it takes a lot more lights for me. If your normal without OCD, you’ll be fine with just 2 rolls 😂 I suprised myself by not adding all 5 just to make it brighter. But it really wasn’t necessary. Good lights. Good quality. You get a ton of lights with your purchase. Out of the box, it was more than I could hold with one hand. If you buy 1 pack with this many lights at Walmart, lowes, home depot,Kmart, at home, or home goods,you’ll end up paying $49.00 or more and you won’t get nearly as many lights or length. I would’ve had to spend over $200 to get as many as I did buying 2 packs here! I can’t imagine how much we would’ve spent on all 5 rolls. And again. I couldn’t find this length anywhere in town.I’m very satisfied with my order.Oh, shipping. We ordered the last 3 on Dec,10th. Because it was a weekend they didn’t get here until Wednesday or Thursday. But that was my own fault. Shipping was fast given the holiday and weekend.Definitely buy these!

Love these and the twinkle
I bought these to restring my Christmas tree and love them. Not bright at all but the tree is in my bedroom so works perfect. My second set I bought was for my outdoor tree and bushes. Looked great, never damaged from rain and it is a lot of lights!

Lots of lights just not a lot of light…
This set of 500 LED lights provides a lot of lights but not a lot of light. These lights are very small pin points compared to a string of mini incandescent lights that I’ve wrapped the bushes in at past xmases. However, these lights are LED and should last for years. I don’t even know what is going to happen when one light goes out – does that entire segment go out?This string is divided into 6 segments which can behave independently based on your choice on the small remote. They flash, fade on, fade off and there is a timer mode as well. All of the smarts for these different modes come from the adapter plug. The button on the plug lets you pick from a few different durations for the timer mode.Unlike the old incandescent strings there is nothing to do with these lights other than plug them in and mess with the remote. You can’t pull out any of the bulbs as they are permanently attached LED’s and there are no fuses to replace so no baggie of extra parts. These lights are very tightly wired so I don’t think there will ever be a problem with snow, ice or rain. Note that this long string terminates with an LED and does not have a connector to attach another string. Shorter strings of LED lights tend to have a connector so one can string a few lengths together.
