FIRST! Pay attention to how it’s folded when you un fold it. We didn’t have a problem because I’d read that first in another review. Not only perfect for the beach, it was perfect for a concert on a hill. Sat 3 adults and our shoes, beverages and jackets and the feet of the people behind us. Kept any dampness from the days previous rain off of us. I’m thrilled with the weight and the way it folds up neatly. I opened it the next day and left in the sun to dry thoroughly beforeRepacking it.

Great Design, but a Bit Heavy
I really like the color and design of this picnic mat. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit heavier than I expected. Other than that, it’s a great picnic mat and I would definitely recommend it.

This worked out great for what I needed
So to start off, I got this to use in a different way than what’s it’s made for. This is exactly as described and completely waterproof. I actually got this to put as an extra layer of protection on my son’s bed at night. My son is special needs and even though he wears diapers, they tend to leak out at night. I decided to put this over his bed and then put down his bed pads on top. Since I started using this, it is so much easier to clean things up in the mornings. I just wipe this down to sanitize it each morning and its ready for another night. No more leaking through the bed pads or the pads moving at night and leaking onto the matress. This product is well made and price was great at time of purchase. Definitely worth what I spent for it. I also think this would work well for it’s intended purpose and I would recommend it.

Size is amazing, very large can easily fit group of 4 adults, however the feel is more of plastic than material, but does protect from ground moisture

Great for an under layer
This is like a Vinyl material so very water proof. Great size. It’s not the easiest to fold back to its original shape, but foldable. It’s not the best on a colder day/night if you’re sitting on the ground as the material gets cold but this mat is a great under layer protection if you want to lay a blanket on it. I give it 4 stars because of the fold ability to
