Easy Set Up, great product
I purchased two 100′ strips for my roofline. I am now in my 50’s and I am tired of climbing on my 2 story roof every year to put the Christmas lights on the gutters. Now a days I get dizzy bending over up there, and I worry that I may lose my balance and fall. So, I decided I wanted something I could use as permanent lighting. I plan on using the white nightly when its not the holidays, and will use other colors during other holidays. (Green Saint Patty’s, Orange Halloween, Red white blue for 4th of July). These sets work perfect. They are very durable, and well coated for weatherproofing. I live in Wisconsin and we get cold and plenty of snow. The kit came with the lights, a remote, clips to hold in place for permanent install and a small end cap to attach to the end if you cut the length. I have seen photos of people drilling through their garages to plug the power source inside, but I found this very unnecessary. I ran an extension cord up to my roof line and zip tied it tucked behind my downspouts. (You can’t see them at all from the front. Since I am keeping them up permanently I did buy a small plastic sealed case that the electrical connection goes into for an extra layer of protection, but it didn’t look like it was needed because their connection appears very secure. (With our harsh winter I prefer the better safe than sorry route. They were only $5.00 at Home Depot) The lights have an adhesive backing which is working awesome so far. During install I could put it up, then unstick and move if needed and the adhesive still holds. If I was only putting up temporarily for x-mas I would feel comfortable not using the clips. Since I’m leaving up I did use the included clips. They are very small, clear plastic and come with screws. The screws are small, so I was comfortable using them on my soffits. I installed one about every 4 feet, which appears that if the adhesive backing failed, this spacing would still hold the lights in place. I am not worried about them falling at all. I needed to cut off about 10 feet on the ends of each, which was totally easy. Just cut at the cooper connection, put the provided end cap on, and glue it in place. I actually used a clear caulk to hold it in place for extra weatherproofing.The lights look awesome, very streamline look, and bright enough to light up the house. I will add photos tonight once its dark. They have been installed for about a week already, no issues. They come with a remote which works perfect. However, I preferred to download the app remote called Lotus Lantern. It’s much easier to use. The nice thing about the app is that it automatically picks up each set of lights and they sync to each other. So I can have both floors of lights doing the same thing, or I can separate the set within the app and have each level do something else.The colors are pretty basic, but I don’t mind that for the cost point. Most of the nights I have the lights fade between Red and Green, but once in a while to change it up I use the 7 color fade. I also like the “Music” setting. The app has preset music built in, so you can sync the lights to those songs and the lights appear to randomly change, jumping around to all different colors. I will see if I can upload a video of that tonight as well.So far so good, I actually just purchased a 3rd set, which I will be adding to the steeple peak of my garage. I only need 30 feet, so my one suggestion to the company would be to offer a smaller roll than 50′ and 100′. I know I can just cut the 50′ down with no problem, but it just seems like such a waste of product.Highly recommend this product. Great quality, great value, easy install, easy use.

Great outdoor vibe lights
I love these waterproof strip lights… I have them in my gazebo and they’ve literally been on for four months straight… And work excellent… They have multiple different colors you can choose from with a remote control. … And you can use the app to control the lights, which is really fun also!

Colors are way off and lights are super dim
I bought this for my covered back porch hoping to add some light to it at night time and have the option to change the colors at my kid’s request. I’ll break this down into 2 versions of the same product, we’ll call them version 1 and version 2.Version 1 arrived fairly quickly and was packaged well. Nthis version had only one spool of lights that connected to the driver. Installation was super simple with the double sided tape factory installed on the string of lights. Just pull off the backing and stick where they need to go. Upon night time falling, I turned them on to find, to my great disappointment, the white color was cyan. There is absolutely no way anyone can say it looks like white. See the attached photos for comparison while using the app. The next brightest color we tried was yellow, but that ended up being green. The brightness on them super dim. I have a different set in my kid’s rooms and they are super bright day or night….not these ones. I have check all connections multiple times and verified through the included remote and the app these are the colors/brightness of this version.After a conversation with Amazon, they shipped me out a new box. Enter version 2.Version 2’s box looked identical to version 1, but that’s where the similarities end. Version 2 had 2 sets of 50′ lights with a driver for them in the middle. Imagine my shock when I realized I have to now run power an extra 50 feet now. The colors seemed brighter, I’d assume because the driver splitting power in the middle and only 50′ each direction. The white color is much brighter and actually looks white in color. There is also no double-sided tape on this version. There is a non-labeled tube of white substance I can only imagine is a messy glue replacement. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!Decisions will be made…I don’t want to run power any further than I already have to accommodate this second version setup, and I really really really don’t want to mess with the glue. We’re leaning towards tearing them all off and returning the to Amazon.Good luck playing the odds with whatever you get from this ad, whether it be Version 1 or 2, you’ll probably be just as disappointed as we were.

Quality Lights
I installed these lights 2 weeks ago and I’m loving them. The adhesive is strong and has withstand the heavy rains we recently had in our area. The controller it comes with enables you to choose a variety of colors and modes to have the lights dance. I got this to decorate for Halloween but I’ll keep this up throughout the holidays!

Incredible how pissed it makes you to have to re-do this crap ! I bought these lights last year put them up. I want to watch them fall during the summer and the adhesive drip all over the side of my house. I do not recommend and there’s no use in putting lights up. That should stay up at least two years that are gonna fall down because the adhesive sucks and do not even think about cutting and putting corners on them because they do not work And they will also break in half after being cold sucks sucks sucks
