Quality Shelving at a Reasonable Price
It took me about 30 minutes to put this shelf unit together. I’m a 77-year-old woman, with multiple disabilities, and it was a snap to assemble.Assembly time included opening the box, removing all the wrapping, putting the small parts in bowls, and the actual assembly of the unit.The problem some people are having is due to not reading the directions if they aren’t familiar with how these shelves go together. You need to keep the sets of poles together and not get them mixed up. Lay them out as they come out of the wrapping. While they should be interchangeable, that isn’t always the case and there is less likelihood of a problem if you keep each set of four poles together.Screw in the four wheels to one set of 4 poles. With the poles lying on the floor, wheels facing you, decide where you want your first shelf to be. It will cover the black, plastic shelf clips so that should give you an idea of where the shelf will finally rest on the pole.Look for the arrow on a black shelf clip and have it pointed away from you. Line the line on a shelf clip up with a line on the pole and clip it in place. You shouldn’t be able to move the clip up or down on the pole if you lined up the clip properly.Attach a matching clip to the one on the pole. Make sure the arrow on the clip faces away from you. The two clips won’t totally come together to make it easier to remove them if you decide to change the position of a shelf. That gap won’t affect the stability of the shelf.Lay a shelf on its long side with the lip facing you. Feed one of the wheeled poles through a hole on your first shelf so that the wheels are facing you. Push the pole forward until most of the shelf clip is covered by the shelf. Repeat with the other 3 poles.Set the shelf unit up on its 4 wheels. Decide where you want your next shelf and attach the shelf clips by counting lines up or down from a set of double lines. With a second set of clips on the poles lift your next shelf up, with the lip facing the floor, and set it down on the poles so that it covers the second set of clips.Depending on where you want your next shelf to be you may want to screw the next set of poles to your bottom poles before adding another shelf. Screw in a coupler for each pole then screw in the remaining poles. Flip a pole if the pole and coupler give resistance. You can force the pole to screw into the coupler but it is easier to flip the pole and less likely to damage the threads.The rest of the shelves are added like the previous ones. After the last shelf is in place push the pole end caps into the top of the poles and your unit is finished.While these lighter units aren’t as sturdy as the commercial units they work great in most home situations. I have similar units that I put together over 20 years ago and they have been heavily loaded and moved many times.Don’t let the negative reviews discourage you from purchasing these shelves. I know it is confusing if you haven’t put this type of shelf together before, but once you get the hang of how the shelf clips work the shelves assemble really quickly. Even the larger units can be assembled by just one person in about a half hour.If you take the few minutes to learn how the clips work the rest of the assembly is pretty much intuitive. And the result of those few minutes will be versatile shelves that are sturdy and can be moved from room to room. It is really hard to go wrong purchasing these shelves.

This rack is pretty sturdy and a fantastic value for the price. Assembly is easy and can be done by one person. This is great for any room that you need to organize it holds multiple items and you can adjust the shelves to your liking as you assemble this.

It Works As Expected – Good For the Price – 4 Shelves Version
I’ve been hunting for a shelf to put my 80 pound CRT TV on, and that is a lot harder to find then you’d imagine, especially for the length and depth of the thing. However I found this thing for cheap, and honestly for the price, you could do a lot worse than this. The shelves are stated to be able to hold 350lbs, so for most everyday uses I can see this working. For my use it works fine.The Shelf itself is very wobbly with nothing on it, however once you put stuff on it the weight more properly distributes and settles, thus becomes a lot more of a shelf. Now even with only the TV on it it feels sturdy and I trust it enough. Empathies on the enough part.It holds the weight fine enough, I don’t see any issues. Although with me using apparently 22% of the total load for that shelf I’d hope it didn’t bend much.The Depth of this thing is honestly too small. It works for most things, like books, but for my needs it just does not go deep enough. If it was maybe an inch longer at 16-18 inches for depth instead of 14 then it would be perfect for my needs. Otherwise it technically works for my needs but not comfortably enough to where I plan to have it be my main shelf as intended.The shelf is also shorter than I expected, but this is all down to my warps perception of scale. If you need an example of the scale of it, it is a bit shorter than me by about a foot and a half. I am 5’10″Also when I received the item, one of the shelves (of the four included) was damaged out of the box. I can’t say I am too angry since I didn’t need the fourth shelf, however it is still a major issue. I’m sure I’m one of the few to get one like that however the fact it did happen is a problem.For 60 bucks (about what I got it for) you can do a lot worse for heavy duty shelves. Cheap and Sturdy do not typically mix, however in this case it seems that they have almost struck that balance.I understand these shelves usually all come from generally the same sources, but there needs to be more options for various storage spaces and various needs. It works for most, even works for me, but I will be relegating this to a second storage center as I order a shelf with more depth.I also did not put the wheels on it as I did not need to TV Rolling away from me. But I imagine they work fine, if not only recommended for lighter items.It was quite easy to assemble, almost deceptively so. To be fair, most of these wire shelves all set up in the same method but it was nice that at least the assembly regardless was as easy as expected.Shelves work, server their purpose, just not perfect, and not exactly what I needed. Even with it not being exactly what I needed it still has enough issues to mark off a star.

Super Qualität. Sehr schnell und sehr einfach aufzubauen. Stabil und für den Keller eigentlich zu hochwertig. Aber ich hatte eine Woche zuvor an der falschen Stelle gespart und ein anderes, bei Amazon angebotenes, Schwerlastregal bestellt. Was mir an diesem besser gefiel, war, dass es MDF Platten als Regalböden hatte und keine Gitterroste. Aber der Zusammenbau gestaltete sich derart schwierig, dass ich dann doch auf das Amazon Basic Keller Regale Schwerlastregal zurück gekommen bin. Hier hatte ich vor 2 Jahren schon gute Erfahrungen gemacht, wollte aber sparen. Das hier bewertete Regal ist zwar teurer und hat leider auch kein Eckregal, aber ich kann nur empfehlen sich für dieses Regal zu entscheiden. Es bringt nicht nur Zeitersparnis beim Aufbau, sondern ist insgesamt stabiler, als die preiswerteren Regale mit MDF Platten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Und für die Ecklösung habe ich die kleineren quadratischen Varianten gekauft. Die sind zwar etwas niedriger, aber so konnte ich eine U-Form im Keller aufbauen. Um die Stabilität zu gewährleisten und Kippen zu verhindern, sollte man die Regale an der Wand befestigen. Das Material dazu liegt bei. Ich hatte zwei Regale vor zwei Jahren in der Garage gekauft und freistehend, weil ich Holz gelagert habe, Kaminholz. Hier war es nicht nötig, weil das Gewicht des Holzes sehr hoch war und stabilisierend wirkte. Je nachdem, was man in das Regal reinstellen möchte, sollte man die Wandbefestigung nutzen. Zum Beispiel haben wir Putzmittel und Toilettenpapier und Co. für unsere Büroräume in einem der Regale: Das ist zu leicht und würde nach vorne kippen. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall die Wandbefestigung nutzen, für leichtere Gegenstände in dem Regal. Fazit: sehr gutes, stabiles Regal, sein Geld wert. Und auch für Wohnräume optisch und von der Verarbeitung her sehr gut geeignet.
