Best Hangers out there.
Love these hangers! They are so nice for my rompers, I fold them in half and clip them so they aren’t dragging on my floor. And the velvet part does not shed like some velvet hangers do. Very durable and can hold my heavy winter coats and race suit. They are slim so when you have to put empty ones in your closet they do not take up a lot of room. I prefer the black ones just because they make my closet look elegant, but they come in several colors. And my spaghetti strap dressed stay o the hanger they do not slide off.

These are beautiful hangers. Just as they state, they have a velvety finish to keep blouses or sweaters from slipping off. I appreciate the metal clamps (vs plastic that breaks so quickly). I finally have enough skirt hangers that I won’t need to double up two skirts to one hanger!But I had a terrible time figuring out how to separate them. They come packed in groups of 6 all clipped together. I could not find the instructions when I came back to the description or reviews. It was really very simple once I figured it out. You need to find the right side and start unclipping the two clamps per hanger with both hands at the same time (otherwise you’ll bend or possible break as you try to do only one clamp at a time). Maybe by putting this in the review I can save someone else some frustration. Sorry my video is not very professional, but it is only about 30 seconds long.

Affordable and effective—buy them!
We’ve been using white plastic clothes hangers in our closet for years and I’ve been getting tired of how ugly and cheap they look. (They are also slippery, allowing sweaters and other clothes to slide off them easily.) When I realized I needed some ‘skirt/pants’ hangers (with clips), I decided it was time to upgrade our hanger style (but on a budget). I was thrilled to find these ‘Amazon Basics’ (Amazon Basics Velvet, Non-Slip Skirt Clothes Hangers with Clips) and ended up getting two boxes of them in both the standard style as well as the metal clip version for pants/skirts. I am 100% happy with my purchase—these are a decent and solid item for what their cost is and they work well. Yes, they are not the ‘nicest’ hangers you could buy, but they are absolutely a great value for their very affordable price. The metal hook/portion that these hang from is solid and has held my heaviest items without issue. The ‘body’ of the hanger is plastic that’s coated with a velvet finish—it provides a nice grip on the shoulders of your clothes so they won’t easily slip off but they do have a bit of flex to them. The clips work well and have a strong grip/clamp, however I’m not sure how durable they will be over time. (I accidentally bent the metal on one pretty easily, but as long as you’re not abusing your hangers these work great.) These absolutely fit my needs, AND they fit my budget, AND they look SO much better than the plastic white hangers we’ve been using. I’m very happy with them! If you’re in need of hangers on a budget, these will be perfect.
