I couldn’t be happier with my Alto Wind Chimes. Took them out of the package and was instantly impressed. The tone is rich, calming, and perfectly balanced—never too sharp or too soft. Even a gentle breeze brings out the most soothing, melodic sound. The craftsmanship is outstanding, with high-quality materials that look elegant and feel durable. Lovely sound
Lovely, deep toned high quality chime and a good value. Hangs on a protected open porch and even a gentle breeze causes it to chime ever so softly–very pleasantly soothing. Exactly what I was looking for! The chime arrived well packaged and was very easy to hang right up. Very happy to recommend.

After examining a large windchimes from another manufacturer, we were going to purchase it, but decided the selling price was unconscionably high. Additional research prompted us to order the Astarin 48″ copper chimes. We were relieved to receive the chimes undamaged, save for a slightly bent suspension hook–surprising because the precise, secure packaging was more than adequate. (Astarin willingly replaced the hook. Twice, in fact, because the USPS returned it with the note “No such resident at this address.” The good folks at Astarin paid the postage again and the doubly wrapped, doubly padded, boxed and taped hook arrived today. Hanging the chimes properly is simplicity itself. I am planning to ensure the security of the chimes lest its come-hither tones tempt an otherwise too-easy theft. Our chimes is beautiful to behold, fully as gorgeous as the one three times its price. More significant to us is the quality of the chiming–memorable. Deep, pure, stirring tones; perfect pitches; splendid blending. The sound from each tube lingers an impossibly long time. I have found myself testing this repeatedly to reassure myself that my memory is not playing a trick on me. A two-second adjustment of the length of the cord on the clapper makes it a breeze (ha ha) to adjust the volume of the chimes. The other day a stranger walking by across the street ascended our driveway to investigate the “mellifluidity” of our chimes and compliment us upon “choosing well.” (I love the onomatopoeia of that articulation, although its proper formulation is “mellifluousness,” which is a lovely word still.) And, yes, we did choose well. And no regret.

After much online searching, I chose these wind chimes as a gift for my daughter. It was the perfect choice. She loved them. They are heavy but come with a large, sturdy hook so you can easily hang them anywhere. The metal tubes are large and thicker than many others I have viewed. They produce beautiful, deep, resonant tones. They are quite loud but so lovely. If you find them too loud, move them a little farther from the window or seating area or hang in a less windy spot. I know large wind chimes are expensive but I am very pleased with the product I received for the money I paid.

J’espérais trouver un carillon plus grand, mais c’est finalement le plus grand que j’ai trouvé (sauf un modèle à 1000€ sur un site spécialisé) et à un prix correct. Le son est assez profond, doux et ça ne tintinnabule à tout va sauf par grand vent (le reste du temps ça produit une ambiance assez douce). Acheté pour faire plaisir à ma mère (c’est réussi), mon père ne trouve pas ça désagréable (ce n’était pas gagné).
