I love my new balsam hill blue spruce Christmas tree
I researched artificial Christmas trees for quite a long time before deciding on this blue spruce balsam hill unlit Christmas tree.The tree is beautiful & seems to be very well made. I liked it so much that I bought my daughter’s family one too.I like how the tree isn’t a big triangle. It goes in & out all the way down like a real Christmas tree would do. I like how there is space in between the branches for ornaments to dangle. I also like how I can bend a branch a little bit to keep an ornament where I want it to stay. There is very little shedding with this tree too, but unfortunately I did lose 2 small pieces while fluffing the branches.The tree comes in a box & the bottom 2 sections are tied together, but when u release it the branches gently fall down & apart. The tree WILL take a lot of time for you to fluff though. I sat on a small children’s chair to fluff the bottom section & didn’t put the middle section on until I was done fluffing the bottom branches. The tree does turn around in its base so I just sat there on my lil chair & gently pulled it around as I worked. Since the middle section of the tree was higher, I used a kitchen chair. It took me about an hour & a half to fluff the whole tree & my back did hurt a little bit afterwards but I am 65 yrs old so old age may be a factor.I think since the tree was brand new & had never been opened before, that next year the branches prob wont take as long to fluff.The top of the tree branches are wired on & not hinged which I suspect is normal for artificial Christmas trees. I tried holding that part in my lap & fluffing the branches but eventually had to put it on the tree while standing on a small chair to finish it up (but I’m short at 5’4″). I don’t like how the top of the tree looks. If you’ll notice from the video, it’s kind of like a big clump. I’ll hafta wait & see if the tree I bought my daughters family does the same thing.My husband likes how easy the tree was to put into the base. You just put the bottom section in and the other layers are straight all the way up. With our old tree, he had to fight getting the tree up straight every year.

Great tree, would buy it again
This tree is great! It looks real, was easy to put together and the quality is excellent. It came with 2 nice bags for storage. Twinkly brand lights are the best and having them pre-strung is very helpful. The lights work great with the twinkly app. It wasn’t super heavy, set up was easy and I would absolutely buy it again. Getting it 50% off for Black Friday was key though. This is my first faux tree and I’m very happy with it.

CAUTION: Not the same!
WARNING & CAUTION: Beyond disappointing! At first I couldn’t believe the greatly discounted price for a Balsam Hill tree on Amazon versus the same purchased directly from Balsam Hill. There’s a reason – THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!We purchased a 6 1/2 foot Balsam Hill tree last year DIRECTLY from Balsam Hill, and this year we purchased this 7 1/2 foot tree from Amazon.The difference is incredible, and not in a good way!!!The tree we purchased directly from Balsam Hill has rubberized plastic needles that have a much fuller and realistic look, than the needles on this Amazon purchased tree. This tree has flimsy needles, some of which fall off as you attempt to “fluff” the branches.Additionally, the tree purchased directly from Balsam Hill has what they call “Balsam Hill Easy Plug” built into the tree making stringing lights on an “unlit” tree much easier.The old maxim “you get what you pay for” is absolutely true in this case. Balsam Hill should be ashamed attaching their name to this cheap looking tree. It can only damage their reputation for making a quality, realistic tree.

Worth the money
So realistic. Also pretty easy to shape and once it’s set up you have a natural festive looking tree. Came with a decent looking storage bag. No more pine needle clean up or dragging the tree in and out of the house. It was kind of expensive but I’d say it’s worth it if you plan on using it for many years.

Not as full as pictured
Pretty but definitely not as full or bright as pictured definitely not worth the pricetag. Wish I would have shopped around a little more. I also spent almost 2 hours fluffing it to get it full looking but it was really easy to put together

Nice 8’ tree
I am very happy with this tree. It takes about an hour or two to get the branches fluffed up, but if you take the time to do it, the tree looks very nice and full. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to properly arrange the branches and I’m very satisfied with the result. The tree is nice quality. I bought the unlit version because from all the reviews and past experience, the pre-lit lights end up going out after a couple of years so I’d rather just add my own lights.

It’s a beautiful tree, easy to set up and the pre lit LED lights are awesome. In addition, we are impressed with the additional items included in the package (a pair of gloves, storage bag); it shows how thoughtful the company’s people are.BTW, we are happy to report that we contacted the seller with a non-product related issue and received a quick response with a satisfactory resolution.In summary, a great product by a good company.
