Well Worth The Trouble!
I purchased the desk and hutch. The first time it arrived, it looked like the deliverymen had tried to play rugby with it– one end of the hutch box was completely torn open. Despite that, most of the pieces were fine, so that’s a testament to how well-packaged it is.That being said, there were enough damaged pieces that the seller just straight offered to send a replacement, which I accepted. The damage appeared mostly cosmetic, though one piece did split when I put the dowels in, and it was overall just rather beat-up. So they sent a second one. I am extremely grateful for that, because there was just absolutely no way I would have been able to lug this back to the post office for a return. I could barely get it into my apartment.The second desk was perfect. Boxes intact. Not a lick of damage on anything. So that is the desk I am going to review, but I wanted to also give this foreword that the customer service is great and if you have any problems, you should reach out to them.PROS:* Instructions state that you need three people to put it together, particularly with the hutch. I put it together by myself, and I’m 5’1 and not a particularly strong woman. The trick is to build out the hutch up to Step 15, and lift it onto the desk before you put the doors and topmost board on.* The instructions are pretty clear. In addition, the bags of hardware/screws for the hutch are marked with red letters to distinguish them from the desk, which are marked in black letters. This will help you keep organized and separate while unpacking both.* The desk feels incredibly solid. I was a little afraid the top would be flimsy, as most desks are these days, but it’s actually quite sturdy. So if you’re looking for a desk that you can safely mount monitors to (i.e like a large tablet with an ergotron arm), this would be a strong contender.* The drawers open and shut smoothly. No complaints.* There are little holes cut into the right side of the desk, one on the hutch and one in the desk itself. These are for routing cables through. They are intelligently placed and extremely useful to keep everything looking neat and tidy.* The outlet set that goes into the desk comes with three plugs, and two USB ports (one of which is USB-C). Very good choice, and a good selection. And it feeds right down into the shelf under the desk, which is tall enough to admit a Backup UPS power supply. All my PC cords plug in there, as does the desk outlet, so everything is extremely tidy.* The storage capacity of this desk is amazing. And it’s all vertical, which saves a lot of floor space.CONS:* The lighting strip that comes with the desk is terrible. They all hurt my eyes. So I wound up getting a different set I’d used before, and was able to swap it in no problem.* The free-standing hutch comes with a rather paltry pair of wall attachments to keep it from falling forward, which I frankly wouldn’t trust. It also comes with a pair of brackets you can use to attach the hutch directly to the desk, but they don’t look sufficient to me either. I’m in California, it’s earthquake central, so this is of serious concern. My solution was to get a pack of 3′ x 3′ L-shaped heavy-duty brackets, the kind used for major wood framing projects, to lock the hutch down in place. I used four of them. Now that hutch ain’t going anywhere.* I’m a short person, so the keyboard tray feels a little high to me. I’ll probably replace it with one that can be set lower. If you’re a person of average height, it shouldn’t be an issue for you.* It’s white, so… easily scuffed and marked. The hutch is only available in the white, and it looks good. But it will get marked up and be hard to keep clean, so prepare for that. That’s just the reality of a white desk that doesn’t have a protective coating on it, which this doesn’t. Shrug.SUMMARY:I would absolutely recommend this desk to anyone, but with the caveat that you should be prepared to use a different method to secure the hutch and you may want a different lighting strip.

This desk was perfectly designed for my art desk, stores all the art supplies.
Good quality, nice design, easy assembly with the step by step instructions. The only problem was the file holder hanger slots in the file drawers are so high, not able to close the drawers when you put the subfolders in the file hanger folders. Otherwise I would like to rate it 5 stars.

Good value for money. Simple to build once you separate all parts. The only negative, is the top is in 3 parts. I would have preferred a smooth one piece work surface.

Excellent Desk for the Price
Good quality, lots of storage space. Would use the professional assembly option if you aren’t mechanically inclined. They did it in 2 hours – would’ve taken me 2 days.

Attractive and functional desk
This is a great looking desk and the perfect size for my room for home use. My wife likes to assemble things like this and had no problems following the directions since all parts were nicely labeled. I recommend this desk and seller.

Takes forever to put together
I brought this desk cause it looked nice. I got the cherry color. It takes a long time to assemble with all the pieces. Putting this product together was a nightmare. Instructions not the best.It takes time and patience to put all the pieces together. It would help if there were also written directions instead of just pictures. The top of it ( the 1,2,3 parts) was difficult to put together could not get them to line up cause of the back sliding (12) parts were sticking up 1/2 to a inch. The quality is okay. I don’t feel like the cost matches the product. I would expect this to be a little less.

Assembly wasn’t as bad as others have said.
It took 4 hrs and 35 min to put the desk together, this included 10 minutes to lay everything out so I could easily find the piece when needed, 10 minutes to read through the instructions so I would know exactly what I was doing. It wasn’t as hard to put the desk together as some of the reviews I had read indicated. It probably wouldn’t have taken as long as it did but I added a drop of wood glue in each hole before putting in any screws to ensure they wouldn’t work themselves loose over time. The desk appears to be very sturdy and it looks good too.The only thing I’m not fond of is the top of the desk is in 3 pieces, I think it would have been better if the desks top would’ve been one solid piece. But I still like the desk. If the desk top would’ve been one solid piece instead of 3 I would have given it 5 stars.

All 54 pieces are very thin particleboard that you get to assemble yourself with the 231 fasteners they provide. It took 5 hours to get it all together and it looks just like the picture they displayed. All materials were good quality and the instructions fairly clear, but a customer should not pay $1,295 then get to spend 5 hours assembling a desk that looks like inexpensive office equipment. Conclusion, sorry I purchased this one and recommend you find a better value.
