Beautiful, Textured, Noisey
I was looking forward to a different style of drapes and these happened to pique my curiosity. They’re neutral colored without being dull, details are enough without being overwhelming, material appears textured as if burlap, oatmeal colored with brown specks throughout. There are lines of textured details, sewn lengthwise at intervals along with tassels hanging from each side,other than the top where you’ll find find several ways from which to hang the drapes.You’ll also find the drapes are lined, helping keep out bright sunlight and ensuing heat.I haven’t decided where to hang these yet. I chose them feeling a need to stick with a neutral color due to the color paint going on being a mossy green. I’m sure it will look great with it but it could also look as good in bedroom? There is width enough to cover the windows but just. That is my fault as I have a large expanse of windows, needing an additional panel. Since drapes usually come in pairs, that means I end up with “overkill” by too much drapery! So, I would normally order 2 sets but only ordered 1 until making sure how I feel about the look. I have dealt with this before and have a couple of additional sets of drapes that can be used on the outsides as to “frame” the others, in these situations. As well, I have shades and a couple sets of different colors in sheers that can help “pad”, achieving a fuller effect.I knew beforehand these wouldn’t cover the windows as normally advised, as when you multiply the windows width by 1 1/2 or 2 x for the total number of inches used in relation to how many panels necessary for covering the window to your liking. It depends on how thickly you want the curtains to hang from rod to floor.Last piece of review that I should mention. The curtains look great and are just as stated. But there is one thing that I found to be a little off putting, perhaps you won’t. The outside portion to block light is made of something that sounds like a raincoat. It feels like a shower curtain, making rustling noises as it moves against itself. I’m not going to wear it so it’s not as if I will “feel” anything that’s a problem, it’s the noise it makes. Regardless of how used, it’s going to move, if it moves against anything, it’s going to make that noise.This is the one and only problem that I found personally strange, the noise and feel of the material. My attention was drawn to this immediately as it was odd, a surprise to my senses and expectations. I had gone from exciting anticipation to disappointed confusion.** I feel an honest to goodness responsibility to describe & review through my eyes. Perhaps it will help others with similar reactions make a more well rounded decision.**

I washed these and dried on low setting and they came out great. I hate ironing curtains. They look beautiful in my daughter‘s room. She gets direct sunlight in the morning so these will be perfect.
