Great to bring on beachy vacations
Took this with me on a vacation and it was great. It didn’t tear and held up great with me and my husband shuffling around on it all day while sunbathing. I did have to wash it at one point. The waterproof backing started to pill a little but still held up on our last use and the moisture from the ground underneath did not penetrate through. It was the perfect size and did not add too much weight to my luggage. Loved how it folded up well and easy too. It comes with 4 plastic ground pins, a bag to store it in and also a waterproof case for your phone! I would definitely purchase again.

Actually Waterproof — Saved Our Beach Day!
This beach blanket seriously impressed me. A wave came up and completely soaked part of it, but the water didn’t soak through — it just rolled right off. Even better, I threw some dry sand over the wet part, and it wiped clean in seconds. No mess, no stress.It’s lightweight, easy to fold, and big enough for three people to lounge comfortably. Not very useful on a beach.
I bought two of these, thinking they’d be big enough for my family, and although they are large enough, the material is like parachute material. There’s nothing blankety about them, and you have to have 4 people to hold all 4 corners while the wind is blowing just to get them anchored into the ground. I still had to put my oversized beach towels on the “blanket” so I could lay on them because there’s no cushion in these and they’re just basically to prevent you from getting so much sand in a blanket or on your towel. They do fold back up and fit into the little carrying bag though, so that’s a plus. Other than that, I didn’t find them useful.

Useful at the beach!
I purchased two of these BYDOLL beach blankets for a recent family trip, and they worked out well. The blankets are lightweight, waterproof, and sandproof (if your understanding of sand proof is the sand wont come up from the bottom, but if your kids tract it on you have to unstake it and shake it off). Good for the beach, picnics, or any outdoor activity where you have to sit on the ground really. The size is advertised to fit 4-7 adults for the 78”×81 size that I got, and while this is true if everyone remains sitting upright, there isn’t much room left if anyone wants to lay down for a nap (which my parents and kids wanted to do, since we had planed to be there all day).That being said, I’m still glad I made the purchase. The blankets are easy to pack and carry, and they do their job of keeping sand and moisture away. And the included stakes really help keep it in place. Overall, these blankets are a good buy for group outings, as long as you’re aware of the space limitations. For 5 adults and 2 kids on our adventure to the beach, having two of these worked better for stretching out then one would have.

Stake Hole Was Ripped, and Loose Seams.
I bought this for the beach, I didn’t open it until we were at the beach, just put the Amazon bag into the car and left. The tarp/blanket had nice colors and fit nice and compacted in the provided case. It came with sand stakes, and it did a decent job doing what it needed to a layer between me and the sand. Upon set up the hole where the stakes go through were ripped. You can see a loose threading happening at the seam where the stake hole is. At the end of all of it, I use my items to weight it down at every corner. The material is also very thin and the wind kept lifting it up. I don’t know if its because one stake was missing or just the material. I fixed the thread seam that were coming loose with a lighting to melt so it stops.I think this can be a great product, but the stake holes need to be inspect before you use this before you use at the beach and if can be a bit thicker or more stake holes in the middle area as wind keeps lifting the blanket from the sand.
