So much better than beach towels
This mat was perfect. We got two of them. They open easily and fold back up no problem, with handles to carry. Super lightweight. And more importantly, you just shake off the sand and water when you’re done lounging and all done. They’re a good thickness to protect from the hot sand and good sturdy quality, I expect it will last us years

Light, Stays Clean, HUGE
We love this mat. We bought it for our annual beach trip last year, and when we got it we were shocked at how big it really was. We like it so much that we actually purchased another when we saw it in a store a few weeks later.Assuming it is folded properly to begin with (the second one we bought was not) it is easy to refold into the shape you see advertised. It’s not paper thin, obviously, but it isn’t excessively thick. It’s also pretty squishy so if you have to jam it in somewhere, it usually smooshes down a little further.Extremely light weight, easy to carry, and although we never used the pockets on the side, it does have them for things like sunscreen.I will say that due to the light weight nature of the mat, that it can blow around a bit if you don’t put something on the corners, but for us we found that even a pair of sandals did the trick. Your mileage may vary depending on which beaches you go to and how windy it is.I’d definitely recommend, the size is great for at least 2 adults, plus a child or two. The sand brushes right off (or can be shaken off) and we’ve never brought sand home in ours.

Great seating
Great size for the price. Big enough to fit my family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen and 1 toddler) to lay on. It’s easy to clean and definitely drys quickly when it gets wet. Perfect for beaches, picnic, anywhere outdoors where you like to sit/lay out. Deducted a star because kinda complicated to fold back together and material kinda prickly.

Great for beach excursions
I am a vine member but I did not receive this for free; I purchased it myself and took it along on a recent family vacation to the beach. I used it on three occasions and each time, loved that I had something like this.First off, the size is ample. It’s roomy enough that a couple of adults can fully stretch out and sleep on it. It’s also low maintenance. I’ve had it covered with sand on the beach. A few shakes before folding it up got rid of most of it. My son also got it wet, which was no problem at all since it is plastic.I especially like that it folds up so neatly to the size of a tote and it has pockets that you can put your beach read book, sunglasses and sunscreen into.The only drawback is, due to its large size, I found it difficult to fold by myself. (I’m five feet tall) I could do it, it just wasn’t easy. My husband, who is approx. 6 feet tall, had no trouble folding it himself. I guess it’s just a great excuse for him to be in charge of clean up then. 🙂

Great for the beach. Helps keep you and your towel clean and sand free.
These are great. We use this when we go to the beach with our dogs. It’s inevitable that wet, sandy dogs are going to run across whatever we are sitting on. If it’s a towel, it’s just a disaster of wet sand that gets ground in. With this, a quick shake dispels all the sand and it cleans up in a jiffy. This is a bit unwieldy to fold but if you follow the folds already in it you get the hang of it. The handle makes it easy to carry if you aren’t stuffing it into a larger bag. I use it every time I go to the beach, with or without the dogs.

Camco Striped Handy Mat – Great for parents with small children
I use this thing everywhere. I have 3 small children who always get splinters on our wooden pool deck. This mat keeps the splinters away and also provides a nice soft, cool surface.Pros:Compact – It folds up into a nice, laptop size rectangle that is easy to transportComfortable – The woven plastic material is very comfortable to sit and stand onVersatility – This mat can be used all over the place. We use it at the pool to keep out splinters and prevent burned feet from the hot deck, we put it on the grass if we’ll be at a park, at the beach to prevent the baby from getting too sandy. The list goes on and on with the possible uses.Cons:Folding – The only thing I don’t like about this thing is folding it back up. It’s like trying to fold up a giant map. What makes it even harder is when you use it for an kind of extended time, the creases are barely visible anymore so its hard to tell where it should be folded.Bottom line – There are too many uses to not buy it. You’ll get the hang of folding it up.

Perfect beach mat

Exelente producto para playa, la arena no se le pega, se sacude con mucha facilidad, se limpia con facilidad, no pesa, es un poco más amplio de lo que pensaba pero me resultó muy cómodo y si se necesita más pequeño lo puedes doblar un poco, me ha resultado muy práctico, se dobla con facilidad, no pesa y cabe en cualquier lado, no te quita espacio lo cual era mi preocupación ya que cargo con muchas cosas por los niños pero no fue así, es excelente producto estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.
