SOlid and stylish
I bought this to offer yard birds a water source for the winter (outside). It is large enough that the house sparrows can take their baths in it, sturdy enough that squirrels don’t tip it over and has so far had no issue with temps which have dropped below 0f several times overnight with no cracks appearing. I bought a low stand to keep it off of the ground directly and a heater which keeps the water temp between 33-36f.

Take care to keep it level
This ceramic birdbath is adorable with its attention to detail of the two birds along the top. However, because the bottom is beveled, you want to make sure that you set it on a completely flat surface or it could easily tilt or fall. As much as I like the two birds on top, the birds that are around my home do not seem to be as fond of them as I am. The few birds who were flying downward towards the bowl, would suddenly pull back up and squawk when they were close to the ceramic figures.

Small birdbath
Just the right size for my front yard flower patch below my window. Heavy enough so the wind won’t blow it over.

Not cracked up to be
I put water in the birdbath and put it outside. The temperature went down to 38, not freezing temperatures. Looked at it in the morning to put more water in it and low and behold, it had cracks. Not really made the best I guess!

Does not withstand cold temperatures.
I bought this because the description said it could withstand cold temperatures. It cracked within the first week. Very disappointed.
