Beautiful and sturdy
These chairs definitely exceeded my expectations. They look beautiful in my MCM-themed space, the brown is a bit lighter than I expected but really lovely. The instructions are not always intuitive (although all the information is there) and could be explicit, especially concerning the screw sizes.Once we figured out which screw was which (there are three different but similar types!), they went together very quickly. The first chair took about 30 minutes to assemble, but once we got the system down the last chair took only 10 minutes. So far they seem extremely sturdy. I am a little worried about how they hold up long term, as there is a little bit of paint peel on the legs already and they seem like they may scratch easily.

These are VERY nice chairs, in terms of quality, design, and sturdiness. It’s a very unique design that blends the shape of an old school diner chair with MCM colors which fits with my aesthetic perfectly. The cushions are extremely plush that when you sit on it, you almost sink into it. The back is an equally plush back rest, and the seat itself is very wide so you can comfortable sit and lounge on it. I love them so much and I am so incredibly happy with these chairs.The faux leather is very smooth and free of imperfections, but of course with all faux leather it will wear down in time so I do expect that. The metal frame holding the chair is very much the galvanized-steel type so it’s very sturdy an I entirely believe it can hold up to over 300lbs as advertised.Now, my issue comes with the shipment and storage of this product–which is frustratingly poor. First when we took out all the parts we noticed that everything was just FILTHY, covered in dust, sand, and grime that shook off everywhere in my living room. On top of that, all the edges of the chair’s steel frame were rusted with seawater (see in photos), which leads me to assume transportation over the pacific was dicey. Lastly, you can see in the photos that my husband’s hands were stained BLACK from all the grime after assembly. Afterwards we wiped everything down twice with Mr. Clean and the sponges came out black (the cushions were not dirty they were sealed well).
