DO NOT BUY!!!! LASTED LASTED 11 MONTHS
I bought this canister in January 2023 because the gas pump kept kicking off. This part fixed my problem for 11 months. It is now December 2024 and I can’t hardly put any gas in my 2006 Yukon. The original canister lasted 17 years! And you can’t make one to last 1 year! This is a pathetic excuse for a quality part that I expect to be remedied when I call customer service. This isn’t the first Dorman product that’s failed within a year. Whatever happened to selling a good product for a good price? Now you just shove garbage out the door that pisses off and irritates your customers. The fact that I now have to spend another 4 hours laying in the snow replacing this canister again is time you have stolen out of my finite life. Dorman has no business selling these on Amazon.
