The Drive Tub Transfer Bench for Bathtub is designed to make bathing easier and more accessible for individuals who face mobility challenges, balance concerns, or injury recovery needs. This bench allows users to enter and exit the bath with far greater confidence by enabling a sit-and-slide motion across the edge of the tub, eliminating the need to step over high bathtub walls. A supportive backrest and a spacious seat help users feel more secure and stable throughout their bathing routine, promoting comfort and independence. Constructed with a durable yet lightweight aluminum frame, the transfer bench offers a strong, reliable foundation for everyday use. The A-frame structure enhances stability, while non-slip suction-style feet help anchor the bench securely on wet surfaces. Drainage holes in the seat prevent water accumulation, ensuring a more comfortable and hygienic showering experience. This makes it an excellent choice for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or anyone who requires added security in the bathroom. The height-adjustable legs allow users to raise or lower the bench in small half-inch increments, providing a personalized fit that supports proper positioning and ease of transfer. Its reversible design enables the bench to adapt to different bathroom layouts, ensuring compatibility with most standard bathtubs. With a weight capacity of up to 350 lb, the bench is built to provide dependable support for a wide range of users. Bad bench leg length ratio from tub to bathroom floor
4/5 stars just because it didn’t fit my shower/tub space. Was very easy to put together and take apart. I should have measured ahead of time, but I didn’t realize how tall the inside of my tub is. I’m sure it works fine else wise. The legs don’t extend far enough down to be even with the floor. I’d say there’s a 2 inch difference so it sits at an angle outside of the tub and isn’t stable. Something could probably be put under the legs to lift it to the right height, but I just had acl surgery and can’t risk anything that could cause injury to my knee.

Wonderful after surgery bathing bench
I got this for my mom to use in her home after breaking her hip and it has been wonderful for her so far! She has a fairly small bathroom, but didn’t feel comfortable using a chair, because she needed to be able to slide into the tub instead of step. The set up was extremely easy and took less than 5 minutes. I loved that you didn’t need tools to put it together! The size of the bench is nice, because it’s large enough that she can sit on the side of the bench and scootch over into the tub without raising her leg! It stays put and doesn’t budge when the water starts. In fact, if I had a critique, it would be that the suction cups are almost too good. It is a bit of a challenge to release them after showering, I wish there was a small tab of some kind to help release them, but it’s a small critique.

Practical
The tub transfer bench is very useful for someone with limited mobility. It was easy to assemble and adjust the height. It is sturdy and easy to keep clean. It is designed so that you can put the back rest on either side. The plastic seat has a slightly rough texture, which prevents too much sliding (a good thing). It is light weight and easy to move.

No tools needed for assembly
Simple to assemble without tools. I like how the bench back rest can be easily removed. The small bathroom did not give us room to use it comfortably. Having the legs be separately controllable in length was great to match the outside and inside the tub floor heights. Very sturdy and of good quality. The weight lets it be easy to lift, while the sturdy supports an adult body.

This is a very secure way to help someone get in and out of a shower (in a tub) without risk of slips and falls. The handle is reversible, and the suction feet grip securely. Sturdy supports under the seat. Ships flat but no tools are needed for construction.Adjustable legs for correct height, works with odd size tubs (ours is almost 100 years old)To use it there are two legs inside tub (the side with handle) and two are oitside. Person then sits on the bench that is extending outside the tub and can then lift their feet-legs into the tub from a seated position and then slide over. A tip from a PSW is to put a small hand towel on the seat as it is easier to slide across the bench. Can then use the shower or sponge bath much more safely.Water does get in the legs a bit so if you plan to have this in and remove when shower is done have a spare towel handy to catch the drips.

I am delighted! After I broke my leg, I was very grateful that the Red Cross loaned me crutches and a similar seat. However, its top was padded and upholstered and I worried that I might damage it. When I learned that my recovery is going to be long, I decided to buy my own, but with a hard plastic top. This is perfect! It only took a few minutes to put together, seems well made, the big suction feet immediately stuck to the tub, and the several drain holes work well. Also, it is easy to release the feet if necessary.I am happy with this product.(Note: I have only used it twice, so I cannot vouch for its strength (I am 135 pounds) or how well it will stand up over time. If there is a problem, I will Edit this Review.)
