It works
The description is very on point, so read carefully and check the measurements. It is a small plastic dish in a sort of terra cotta color on top of a fairly substantial metal pole. I have it in an area where a larger bird bath would not work. It is much smaller than the bird bath in my backyard. It is fine, but I would not call it lovely by any means. It blends into my landscaping which is what I wanted for the area. It is quite lightweight, but the metal pole does seem like it will last well and the “spike” at the bottom is large. So far as I know, no larger animals have bothered it yet. I had a glass birdbath which was a victim of a large animal (probably a raccoon) trying to get into in and knocking it over. I like that this one won’t break, but I have soft sandy soil, so I am not sure if this one will fall over or be able to stay upright. It’s not the best birdbath aesthetically, but it is a good price and will hopefully last.

Color Bleached
Nicely made except that within just a couple months it has totally bleached out and it was placed under a tree in the shade.

Underwhelming bowl, easy setup
We are super fortunate to have many variety of birds visit our garden. Feeding and watching them have become my latest hobby/obsession. So, experiencing the awful heat we are getting, I thought how nice it would be to indulge my new babies to some water.I immediately grabbed this number when it was offered. Well, much to my chagrin, the dang bowl was plastic. And its diameter was not as big as I’d like. Did I overlook this when I read the descriptions? Perhaps I was more concerned with the measurements of the pole. The product looked so cool, I guess I didn’t bother to read.Anyhow, the setup was very easy. Instructions were simple. Despite the underwhelming bowl, the pole and stake are sturdy. I am 5’1” so the height was just right. That said, I hope the babies won’t judge and make use of this. HahaFifteen bucks seem fair. Keep reviews in mind when you’re in the market for a bird bath.

Quite cheap looking, but stands upright okay and is stable so far
Grumble grumble. This birdbath is a lot cheaper looking in person than I was expecting. I knew the tub was plastic, but it looks oh-so-cheap. I originally intended on putting this in my garden area in my front yard but it is too cheap looking so I am hiding it in the backyard LOLOn the positive side, it was easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy and remaining upright so far. The metal leg and multiple spikes helps stabilize it in the ground to help prevent it from blowing in the wind. I just can’t get past the cheap appearance of the basin. I definitely wouldn’t pay more than $15 for this birdbath.

Really cool bird bath!
This bird bath is so tall! Definitely taller than any bird bath I’ve ever owned. But I’ve also never had one that staked into the ground like this one does. I was able to put it together very easily & I look forward to putting it in my yard. I have a bunch of blue jays that love having bird bath parties in my short stone bath in my front yard. So I think they will really enjoy this one in the backyard, near their peanut & seed feeder. The top dish is plastic & removable for easy washing, which I really appreciate. It just snaps in & out of the metal frame. The middle of the dish is deeper than near the edge, catering to birds big & small. The ground stakes are adjustable & the main middle pole is pointed at the end to work as a stake as well. Looks & feels like a good quality bird bath. Putting water out for birds & our furry wildlife friends is so important! Not just in the summer, which is especially crucial yes, but all year round. A simple dish outside with clean water, placed in the shade, can literally be the difference of life or death for a wild animal. Water sources are not always nearby & what may seem close to us, is a long long way for their little legs to travel, just to get a drink. I keep several bird baths & on the ground water dishes in my yard, front & back. Even if you don’t feed the wild animals or birds, a dish of water could make you, their hero. Not only could your water dish save an animals life, it brings them into your yard, to watch & enjoy all the silly things they do. Appreciate wild animals, they are truly amazing if you take the time to look!
