I bought the Joydeco Blackout Patio Sliding Door Curtains (84″) as a creative solution to divide a room for my two teenagers. As a divorced dad, I needed a way to give each of them a little more privacy while they shared a space, and these worked out perfectly with a simple divider system.The curtains are thick, durable, and feel well made, especially for the price point. They hang nicely and definitely create the sense of two separate spaces, which has been a huge win for our household.As blackout curtains, they do a solid job, but I wouldn’t call them 100% blackout. They block most of the light, but during the day some sunlight still filters through—enough that I’d compare it to the glow of a small nightlight. For everyday use, that’s not a dealbreaker at all, but if you’re someone who works mid-shift and absolutely needs total darkness to sleep, you might want to consider something heavier duty.Overall, for what I needed—a practical, affordable, and well-made divider that also cuts down on light—these curtains were a great choice.

Blocks out ALL light and helps regulate the temp!
These are insane. For the price, I am shocked at how good these are. It could be so bright outside but my room would be in nighttime mode and you’d never know the sun was out! I got this large singular curtain for my back slider and it covers the whole door! The quality is incredibly impressive. They’re soft but dense. The grommets make it a lot easier to slide open or closed on the curtain rod and I really like that. I’ve had curtains that get stuck to the rod and eventually get ruined.

These blackout curtains are exactly what I needed. The fabric is thick, heavy, and blocks out almost all light, making the room much darker and cooler. Definitely black out. Super soft like silky on one side. Love that its wrinkle resisitant. Super easy to install. I would say my only dislike on this is I took down the slates for my slider and replaced with this, the curtain is not like weight to its pretty heavy so I added the middle curtain rod holder with out thinking about it. We’ll as you can guess with the middle curtain rod holder the curtain can not be open all the way onle half way. Luckily its worked for me right now bc we are getting into winter so I dont use the slider as much in the summer. But I will eventually just need to get a thicker or more sturdy curtain rod. Still works tho. Great quality and thickness for the money for sure.

The material is nice and thick enough for blackout curtain. Unfortunately, I need to return them because my curtain rod can not hold its weight.
