Want your holiday/special occasion property to stand out from your neighbors at Christmas (or other times in the year)? Try these gorgeous babies out, hanging from your house, work building or landscape trees! I have stopped using ALL my OTHER Christmas lights after I purchased these amazing light sets.Depending on which light mode you choose, these pleasingly bright and richly colorful light sets look like melting icicles in the starlight, or meteors streaking through the sky and down your tree. Imagine getting all that visual pleasure WITH the LOW energy bill of LED lights!I expect that you will be happy WHENEVER you buy these beautiful lights, but you will get a special thrill if you buy them when they are on special sale. I managed to get the discounted price on the FIRST light set, and then made a SEPARATE PURCHASE of EACH DIFFERENT COLOR light set in order to receive that same discount on the FIRST PURCHASE of EACH COLOR light set. I then chose to use each different colored light sets in separate locations (e.g. front yard tree left side and right side and rear side, left eave of house, right eave of house, side tree, etc).All you need is a nearby electrical outlet or extension cord to find out how much fun these pretty lights can be, though I would recommend a plastic bag to surround the plug IF it is in a location where it can get wet (as you would with ANY plugged in device). If you route each end of light set wire and extension cord plug THROUGH the plastic bag and plug them together, you can use tightly wrapped electrical tape on each side to waterproof your plastic bag and keep water away from the electricity. IF you mess this step up and water gets in, expect your lights to go dark until you reset the GFCI or circuit breaker switch, but make sure you investigate and fix the problem! Spending the holiday dead from electrocution isn’t as fun as it sounds (I assume). 😁

I purchased these lights in October 2023. Now its October 2025. It has been hanging outdoors the entire 2 years. I never got them back indoors after the holiday season because a lit up home just uplifts me. I would highly reccomend these lights to anyone. I am not a person who writes reviews after owning products for a short time. This is a review after 2 continuous years of use. Extremely durable and great value for money and looks so pretty.

Nice Look, Easy to Install
The lights are very easy to install, and look great. Each strand has a removable AC adapter. Removing the adapter is how one connects the strands end-to-end. The end-to-end, 2-prong, keyed connectors seem weather proof. (Full disclosure, I live in Southern California. We don’t have much weather from which to proof!)The strands are not really 32′ long. There is ~8′ lead from the plug to the first icicle. So, when you measure before you purchase, 24′ is a more accurate estimate. I am able to connect 4 strands in series with no issues.The front and back of my house are each 96′ long. I purchased (96′ house/32′ strand) * 2 = 6 strands (who said there would be math!) I ordered 3 colored strands for the front, and 3 warm-white strands for the back. When the order arrived, there was a white strand in a box labeled colored. Ack! It worked out, however. since the strands were shorter than I expected, The errant white strand completed the back of my house. Unfortunately, being short 1 colored strand for the front, I needed to order more colored strands (and tolerate the ridicule from my neighbors for only having half of the front of mu house lit). I ordered 3 more strands.The 3 new colored strands took almost 2 weeks to arrive. When they did, I again had another white strand in a box labeled for colored lights! Argh! I made the white strand work by putting them on my shed. But now I need to order more colored lights. I don’t have much more perimeter if I get another white strand.If you have severe OCD, the colored lights may get to you. The colors are not randomized on the icicles. When hung, there is a row of red, a row of green, a row of amber, etc. My OCD is mild, so I get over it, but I do notice every night. 🙂 Also, there is no random blink as one of the modes. That would be nice.In addition to these lights I would recommend eave clips, 6″ Velcro wire ties (to wrap the 8′ extension between strands), and smart plugs. The smart plugs have WiFi and enable all of your lights (landscape and Christmas) to come on at once. Cool feature!

Worked good for a few years then memory box failed
We purchased these and they worked great the first two years but then the controller box memory or something failed because now they won’t hold the setting you set them to anymore and everytime they come on with the timer they blink and we have to go out and hit the button 7 times to get to the steady light setting which is a huge pain.
