Smart clock
I’m obsessed with my new wall clock! It’s so smart it keeps perfect time without needing to be wound. Plus, it’s super quiet and easy to follow instructions. The size is just right for my wall, and I feel like it was the best purchase I’ve made in a while better than buying the traditional wall clocks for its design. Simple design and reliable.

Excellent wall clock
A great wall clock. Works perfectly and looks sharp. You can see the time very clear.

Lacrosse 12″ Atomic Wall Clock perfect synch after auto time set
Looks good. Matte black with silver accent frame with easy to read dial. Long life (up to five years promised) with three AA batteries is a real bonus. Propped two clocks on deck chairs in west facing lanai in central east coast Florida and synched with Colorado atomic clock in under two minutes! Perfect time set. (See video.) Couldn’t be happier.

Big fan of atomic wall clocks. VERY convenient.
I’m a big fan of atomic wall clocks. This is the second one I’ve purchased. (Different brands.) First one is in the kitchen and, if I get on my tippy toes, I can just reach it change the battery. I can’t, however, hang it back up without a step stool. Not having to change it twice a year or adjust it is great! This one is going into the dining room as it’s a bit dressier.Don’t get wedded to the idea that you need to set this clock on the closest side of the house to WWVB though. In my house that’d be to the West, but on the West side of the house it can’t get a good enough signal to set for the first time. The West side is heavily forested and there are high tension power lines a few blocks away, both disrupt a good signal. After it’s set it’s good to go, just try different locations in your home before you give up. It’s also easier to set after the sun goes down as the signal is stronger at night with less interference from the Ionosphere. For grins and giggles I grabbed the other clock and this one and put them side by side. Both clocks synched down to the second. A good sign – grin!

Great but you should know its limit
This clock automatically adjusts itself—like magic! Well, atomic magic. But before you marvel too much, here’s a fun fact: the timing of its synchronization depends heavily on where you live in the U.S.Since there’s only one atomic signal tower (NIST Radio Station WWVB in Colorado), folks in the Pacific and Mountain time zones are living the dream—it syncs all day long. But if you’re in the Eastern time zone, especially in New England like me, the clock gets a bit shy. It only tries to sync around 4:00 a.m., like a secret agent reporting in before sunrise.I live in one of those signal-challenged zones, and for a few days, my clock just… gave up. No sync, no glory. Eventually, it caught the signal and adjusted itself—hallelujah! But waiting for it felt like watching paint dry in slow motion. Still, once it locks in, it’s impressively accurate.Overall, it was good buy, just needed a little patience.

Worked great.
Super easy to use and set up. I hope it lasts a long as they say. The bad part was that the Amazon driver dropped it off on my front steps, instead of on the covered porch, and it was water soaked from the rain.

nice clock with misaligned hands – Update: do not buy, randomly shows wrong time!
It’s a nice looking clock with misaligned hands. The numbers on the face of clock are large enough to easily read from a distance. It has a clear cover over the face of the clock to protect it. It’s easy to setup your time zone (PST, MST, CST and EST), and it’s already set on DST(daylight saving time) so only residents of Arizona will want to turn that off. It is annoying to wait for the time to auto-set itself but I understand it is by design since it has to wait for the radio signal from Fort Collins, Colorado. For me it took about 1.5 days and I was worried I might not be able to catch the signal in North Carolina, but it worked! I’m not a big fan of their misleading marketing label of “atomic time” since it may mislead people to assume it’s an atomic clock and it’s not, it’s “radio controlled” and that would have been a more accurate label, but it’s their marketing choice. Ok, now the big reason why I removed one star. The hands are misaligned VERY obviously, and especially the seconds hand does not stop on the mark but rather in between. Other reviewers have commented on this also, and I bought a second clock thinking it will be better but it has the same issue. It looks like it’s a problem across on all of their clocks. And you can’t align the clock hands yourself because there are no controls on the back of the clock that will allow you to do that. They spend the time to design a nice clock but could not figure out how to align the clock hands on the mark? I think it’s a problem with their quality control and this makes me worried about how long will the clock last if they did not test it after production. Overall, nice clock with misaligned hands.Update: Jan 25, 2024- I bought this clock 1 month ago. Initially the clock set itself to correct time after 1-2 days of waiting. I put the extra 3 duracell batteries in so it will last 3-5 years like they claim. For the most part it runs correctly, but at few random times it’s off by a lot. For example this morning it’s showing 11:36 as time, and it’s 07:28, that’s off by 3 hours. And it was showing correct time yesterday. How does that even happen? The basic function of a clock is to show correct time and if it randomly shows you the wrong time then it’s unreliable. I do not recommend this clock and downgrading to 1 star.

Love the atomic clock auto setting!
Does exactly what I had hoped. After installing 3 AA batteries, set my timezone and DST setting, this immediately set itself to the correct time. It’s large enough and easy to read across the room, and looks good next to the other wall decorations. I like that it has 2 extra battery slots to extend the battery life to an advertised 5 years. Also, I like that it’s quiet! This is replacing a different wall clock that had a noticeable “tick” as the seconds hand moved. In contrast, I cannot hear this clock at all.

Why sell this in the UK when it’s not suitable. Stupid waste of time

La Crosse Technology wall clock is an excellent product. I just put in the batteries, selected appropriate time zone and the clock set the correct time by itself. Very easy to operate and no need to change the time for Dalylight Saving Time. The clock will change the time automatically. The clock has sophisticated look. I am happy with this wall clock and recommend to anybody looking for accurate time. However, you would have to be in the zone where the time signal can be received.

Como en la foto y trabajando de manera correcta.

Some reviews commented on unable to automatically update the time. I recommend using a web browser and searching for ‘wwvb coverage map’ (without the quotes of course) before you purchase this item. Clearly a large portion of northern and north eastern Canada are not covered by this transmitted signal. Also as one moves further from Colorado, ensure the clock front or back faces (approximately) toward Colorado.I reside in North Okanagan BC and first placed the clock on a north exterior wall. This resulted in unable to automatically updating the time. When I reread the manual, I realized my error and moved the clock location to an east facing wall. Within 5 minutes the clock moved to the correct time and has tracked WWVB accurately ever since.I appreciate the ease of installation and elegant look of this clock. I really value the fact, although I spend most of my day at my desktop, I did not need to install an app and have yet another icon or programme on my computer. Even opening the task bar is a PITA (often hidden by numerous open applications), when all I do now is simply turn my head and look at the time.Time will tell if the battery life reaches the expected 5 years as stated in the manual. But I’ll be happy to change 3 AA batteries every 3 years.

Monterrey. Jala bien.
