Last weekend I took this lantern out for a backyard fire-pit night near the pool. I hung it from a nearby tree — the flickering flame light gave the whole area a warm, cozy glow, almost like real fire, but without smoke or sparks. Felt good having that camp-fire vibe without dealing with wood or ashes.As night fell and the wind picked up, the lamp swayed a little but kept glowing steadily — no flicker interruptions or weird dimming. The battery lasted several hours, and when it finally died I just plugged it in to recharge. Simple, no fuss.What I really liked: the light looks warm and natural — not harsh or cold like many LEDs. It was easy to hang, and after a couple hours around the fire pit, the ambiance felt comfy and chill. Great for parties, relaxing nights outside, or when I just want a soft light without dealing with fire safety.If you want an affordable, easy-to-use lantern that gives a cozy flame-like glow — indoors or outdoors — this one does the job nicely.

Worked out of the box. The lanterns are made of plastic and very lightweight. The port to charge them has a white rubbery piece that didn’t look right against the rustic brownish color so I removed it and the small port blends in now. I like how you need only turn the knob counter clockwise without turning it completely off to change light modes. At the brightest setting they give off a sufficient glow to illuminate your surroundings. My favorite mode is the flickering flame. These lanterns come with a remote that also has the option to put the lantern on a timer. Super easy to charge.

These work great! Using the remote controls both at the same time, which is nice. Nice and bright or calming in “flame” mode. I charged both last year and used them for a few hours one night, then packed them away. I brought them out tonight, and they still had a charge. These are a good buy.

Great fun, looks great
These were great. They added a fun old-timey touch to my Halloween decorations, and now my kids love playing with them. They set up a “camp” in the backyard with them, and now also use them as night lights. I’m getting an unexpected amount of use for them.

Set of lamps has non functional lamp
I really wanted to love these vintage-inspired lamps. They fit my decor perfectly, and I had a spot on my gallery wall all ready for them. When they arrived, I was excited to get them set up. They’re lightweight, all plastic, and don’t have a particularly expensive feel, but they seemed like they’d do the job for my space. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment.I charged both lamps as instructed. The light near the power cord turned from orange to green after a few hours, indicating they were fully charged. I hung them on the wall, and when I turned them on, one of them immediately died. I tried plugging it back in, and again, the charging light went from orange to green, signaling it was charged. But when I turned it on again, it completely stopped working.It’s very frustrating, especially considering I had already mounted brackets on the wall to hang them. Based on the light weight, plastic construction, and one lamp being completely inoperable on day one, I don’t think a replacement would be any better. Sadly, I’m really disappointed with this purchase and don’t think it’s worth the $40. Poorly made and not durable—I’m definitely not buying another set.

Cute but super plasticy. They do flicker in the flame mode which is cute. And there are a few other modes as well. We bought these for the viral ghost photoshoot. They look super cute in the photos but they don’t put out a ton of light so they aren’t super bright. They do charge up by USB cord and it’s a very easy process. Red(low) to green(charged).
