Really Good, Easy On The Eyes
We get power outages around here, often enough that it’s a problem. I began to see that my main problem was not having a light over the kitchen sink. I can light the stove area, bathroom, and we have little lights for the rest of the place, but you’d be surprised how much time you spend at the sink or kitchen counters! And we have well water, so I’m using a garden pump sprayer for water. I need to see when I’m doing dishes, washing hands, or using utensils.I’ve learned that standard LED light is “white” light, which really is hard on the eyes. It’s okay for an hour maybe, but for a night power outage, it’s a problem. I looked everywhere for some sort of camping or tent light that also provides “warm” or “soft” yellow-ish light. This has that option!!This unit is somewhat more expensive than a basic camping light, but with millions of hours of run time (they say — okay, exaggerating a bit), I figured it might work. I wouldn’t be able to recharge a USB battery without some kind of power pack, but with a pretty long run time, I thought I’d give it a try. What I hadn’t realized is that I don’t need the light to be on constantly! I just need a good, bright, all-around, wide dispersal light for when I’m doing work at the sink. This works perfectly!! When you press the power button, it also has a “status” readout of 4 blue lights. They let you know if it’s fully or partially charged, so I can check it once a month to make sure it’s good to go.There’s a pretty powerful magnet on the bottom (or top if it’s hanging down), and also a simple hook. I bought a metal, flat plant hanger and mounted that above the sink. This will physically hang on that metal, or it also will just stick there by the magnet. With adjustable brightness, which also works on the “soft” mode (click through for the modes), it’s an excellent substitution for the main AC-powered kitchen light over the sink.We mostly get 2-hour outages, but often enough, a 48-hour outage. This will cover both situations. I’m fairly confident it also would handle a 1-week outage. And if that happens, I’m pretty sure we’ll be able to find somewhere to recharge USB-charged lithium-ion batteries. For simple camping? Yeah, this is WAY better than a “white” flashlight or lantern. And for you old-timers, it’s also easily comparable to a Coleman propane lantern, with the hassle of fuel and pumping.Oh: And no, it doesn’t have a remote control. You have to use what we call “hands” and “fingers” to access the functionality of the device. 🙂

Pleasantly surprised!
At first this light was extremely frustrating because the controls aren’t very intuitive and there are no instructions on how to adjust the colors, brightness, and different modes. Once I hit upon the right combination of buttons and figured it out, though, it quickly became one of my favorite lights.I now use it every day in an area of my house where I often need more light during certain activities. I’ve had it for a couple months now and have only needed to recharge it once even though I use it for 30 minutes to an hour daily, or more. … and even then it didn’t *really* need a charge yet, I just decided to top it off before a windstorm came through in case we lost power.I live in a rural area where we have frequent power outages and I feel a lot more secure with this little light around. I especially like that I could also use it to charge my phone if needed, though I haven’t tried that feature yet.I like how many color and brightness choices there are, including multiple shades of white, of which you can adjust the brightness for each. It also has fun rainbow colors that you can choose from, or you can put it in a mode where it fades from one to another like a prism.I can’t speak to its durability for travel or camping. It doesn’t look super tough to me, but I think if you’re a person who handles your things with care it would work great in any setting. I don’t think it would take a beating, though. Upside of that is it’s lightweight. The attached carabiner-style clip is very sturdy and closes securely, so it’s not gonna fall off from where you hang it.Overall it’s a pretty great little light, especially for the price. I even bought a second one as a gift for a friend!

Everything you could ask for from a lamp
I’m so happy I got this, it’s everything I wanted and exactly as described!! Magnetic, lightweight, comes with a clip to hang it on things… perfect for camping and backpacking. Even has 3 light colors (cool, medium, warm) and decent brightness control. I was worried it would be cheaply made and a waste of money, but it’s surprisingly durable and well built. I will be using this on campouts but you could probably use it in the home or anywhere else because of how convenient it is, and I love the fact that it’s rechargeable! This is an excellent lamp, reasonably priced, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice little lamp for camping, backpacking, etc.

Me encanto que se puede ajustar la intensidad de la luz, y la opcion de cambiar de colores puede ser util dependiendo de la actividad que se este haciendo. No he comprobado su durabilidad de bateria.

If you are ordering in India, don’t buy it as it dispatches from USA and stuck in Indian custom as it is not allowed to get the product with battery so you never get this product.

Parfait pour les vacances et toujours très pratique pour les coins mal éclairés dans la maison.

This is so good. Added ut to my camping equipment. Love the soft glow light. Tried in pitch black bathroom and it was very good! I think its small. Does not take up alot of space.
