Straw-like texture, lightweight
This is clearly a rug meant to take camping or outdoors, hence the travel bag, and less an indoor/outdoor rug. It isn’t soft or cozy and my intention to use it on our enclosed porch changed course when I felt the straw-like material. I’ve had it spread out and being in my kitchen for a few weeks, a temporary trial so I know what to expect or when we begin camping for the season and I’ll take it along. It’s not uncomfortable to stand/walk on, but it isn’t really for inside use. It’s large and the folds from shopping very very quickly disappeared upon spreading it out and leaving it spread out. My cat is obsessed with it, playing with and attacking the corner edges, which surprisingly hasn’t resulted in any damage or snagging of the material. So far, I’m convinced it’ll perform and hold up well through even a rough and rainy camping trip. It’s extremely lightweight and it seems to be reversible. Nice and large and will fit well in our 10-person tent. I can’t be sure about cleaning mud or camping grime from it until after a trip, but I imagine it can be cleaned pretty easily with a rinse off by a hose. Can also be a little slippery if placed on smooth interior floors and encountered too quickly without considering where you’re stepping. This is not likely to be a problem when it’s placed on the ground outside.

Great for outdoor use
Love that it’s reversible! I use it outdoors for my rv, would give it 5 stars but the stakes it comes with are super flimsy and bend easily. It also has ripped in a few places due to things scratching against during the storms. Easy to sweep off from leaves and grass.

Love the color. Carpet comes in a black bag with spikes so that if you want to put them into the grass. I have my patio furniture on it so I don’t need them but it was nice that it was something that was given just in case.
