Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and I love it , I told him it’s because he’s our whole world and it’s the best. Only thing is that I didn’t notice it has a few spots that are designed to look like it’s worn down so keep that in mind

The Best Atlas Statue I’ve Yet To Find!!
This is utterly unique & the best quality you’ll find here on Amazon of the infamous Atlas. Whether you know anything about Greek Mythology or not, you’ve most likely still heard of Atlas. Seems like it’s definitely one of those pieces that everyone’s familiar with. This is the ideal size for your home. It’s not overly large to where it’s awkward & it’s not so small you can barely notice it at all. I value the color scheme they chose here & appears to be a definite upgrade from their previous Atlas statue. The brown color they chose very much resembles brass. Maybe that’s what they were going for in a sense. I actually ended up gifting this to my father in law who just turned 73 & even he (someone with no information regarding Greek Mythology) immediately knew what this represented. This is the perfect statue for your home or can be a lovely choice for gift giving. I hope you find as much joy from this piece as we have. Oh! & the weight is on point with all artworks from Lukitas. They know how to make perfect statues. I’m blown away each & every time. So is my husband!! You won’t be disappointed for choosing this one I can promise you that!!

I ordered this Lukitas Atlas Holding Up World Statue and Sculpture, Lifting The Earth Figurine Decor, Creative Ornament statue of Atlas holding the world for my teenage son’s room.My son is a big fan of Greek and Roman mythology; he’s commented lately that he sometimes feels like Atlas, with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He’s a junior in high school, the hardest year, carrying a full double load. He goes to LaGuardia, the “fame” school in NYC, he’s studying voice with hopes for an opera career, and he has a full academic and a full studio load of classes every day.The Atlas statue was a bit of a joke and a bit of an encouragement. Our family makes jokes about everything, my son thought this statue was really funny. But I also told him it was a reminder to stay strong and perservere.I think he liked the message, he put this in a place of prominence.This is a nice little statue, it measures slightly under 12” tall. The sales page says the statue is made of resin, it also says this is Deco style, I don’t really see that. Maybe they’re thinking of the famous Art Deco statue of Atlas? This is a completely different style.The statue looks heavier than it actually is. It has a bit of a classical feel to it; certainly, the reference to Atlas, but also the style of the sculpture. This isn’t made of stone or marble, but it has a bit of that kind of weighty, even earthy feeling.A nice small statue with a bit of that classical feeling. My son likes this a lot.
