Well designed, great function, wish there was a middle size or something
I have some of the other popular self-watering pots with the tan bottom, and I really like them but I think I like these better. With the others I am always a little worried I might knock the bottom off, or overflow it. With these I like that you can see the water level. I also like that they are lightweight plastic (at first I thought they were glass) because I don’t want too much weight where I’m hanging them. Someone said they felt the quality was too cheap for $30, but the functionality is great and makes watering so much easier, imo it’s totally worth the price, and I don’t think they look cheap hanging up. The only thing I would change is that the outer piece is much bigger than the inner pot, like it has a lot of space not only on the bottom but on the sides. This means the larger pots will look too big for the plants until they grow in a lot, and you better not use it for plants with a large root system. Luckily I’m using mine for hoyas. But I wish there was a 5.5″ one or something. I will probably order more of the 6.5″ though, when I need them.Update: been a few months, adding a star, I really love these pots and will definitely get more.

Functional yet pretty
I recently picked up a hanging self-watering flower pot, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my indoor plants! I was a bit skeptical at first, but the reservoir does a great job of keeping the soil moist. I no longer have to worry about forgetting to water my plants, which is a huge relief. I’ve noticed that my plants seem healthier and happier since I started using this pot.Installation was pretty straightforward – just fill it up, hang it, and you’re good to go. I did make sure to follow the instructions on how much water to add initially, and that seemed to set everything up perfectly.Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase. Amazing quality planters! Multiple sizes make displaying beautiful! Holds water well and keeps plants fed for many days at one time! Well worth the price! Keeps our kitten from getting to our plants! Highly recommend!

Overall Pretty Good
So, in theory, these are adorable. I’m a sucker for anything acrylic (or clear), and these fit the bill. And they’re self-watering?!? I was sold! I was wondering how well the rope (for self-watering) would work but it actually works really well! In my opinion, seeing the water is both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because you can see the water level and when your plant needs more. In the flip side, because you can see the water, you can also see the dirt and soil that’s in it. You can see from my close up picture that the water is a little dingy making it look not as “clean” as I’d like it to. However, it doesn’t bother me to the point where I would return it. Just something to note if you’re debating on purchasing it. Assembly was really easy and the large pots are a decent size. Another note is that the small planters are super small so keep that in mind when you’re picking out your plants.

Great self-watering hanging pots
These self-watering hanging pots are fantastic. They’re really pretty to look at, and I love that you can easily see the water level at a glance. In my setup they keep the plants watered for over a week, which makes them super low-maintenance.I bought them in both grey and clear, and both colors look really nice. Works well for small, high moisture plants. Flimsy plastic
These are ok. I should have read more closely. They are very flimsy plastic. The good news is they are lightweight for hanging. I would only use these for plats that need a high level of moisture. The self watering works a bit too well! We used them and had to repot almost all of them because the moisture was too high.
