Simple to install & works great!
The 75′ solar string light set is simple to install. All bulbs arrived intact. There was one spare bulb included in the shipment. The lights have been up for several weeks now & they work great! The mini solar panel can be clipped onto something, mounted, or staked into the ground. I clipped it to a rain gutter & it has stayed in place in 25 – 30 mph windstorms. From day one, the set has gone on at dusk & off at dawn. I live in the desert southwest where sunshine is plentiful, so there have been no issues with lack of solar charge. The lights stay on all night. This set is static. They do not blink. You cannot adjust the run time. You cannot use a remote with this set. If you are looking for a set to operate with a remote, make sure the product you are ordering indicates that a remote is included with the set. The emitted light is pleasant and subtle, and is a warm hue. The attachment on the string for each light bulb contains a circular hook (that opens) and clip hook. The string lights I was replacing were quite old & each light had a metal dragonfly attached. I was delighted to find that I was able to reuse the metal dragonflies by attaching them via the circular hooks. (See photos.) If you are looking for a good quality string solar light set at an affordable price & you do not need extra lighting features, I highly recommend this set. I’m hoping we get several years out of this lovely set. Cheers!

Excellent product backed by excellent customer service
I was worried when I ordered these because the lights I’ve purchased in the past would either only hold a charge for about 2 hours or they were extremely dim. These have exceeded all expections though. They provide plenty of illumination for our patio area. Now we can entertain and I can craft outdoors well into the evening as well.Upon receiving the lights I noticed each lightbulb has a clip for easy hanging. I also really appreciate that you can charge the solar panel with a USB cable. Aside from the time when we unpacked the lights, we have not had a need for it though. The solar panel holds a charge really well and we are in a shady area blocked by trees so we don’t get a lot of sunlight to begin with.The lights usually go on at sundown (currently around 7pm) and stay on long after we have gone to bed (12-1am). We have not witnessed them dim at all before we go to sleep so I’m not sure if the charge holds all night.I didn’t realize until after I hung up the lights that one of the bulbs did not work. It took me about 20 minutes to hang the fixture so I was really reluctant to undo the whole thing to ship it back just because of one bulb. I reached out to customer service instead. The response time was prompt and they asked me to make sure it was an issue with the bulb and not the wiring (hadn’t even occured to me that that was a potential issue since I really liked the way the lights worked). Upon testing to isolate the issue, it turned out it was actually the bulb. Customer service was honest and very responsive. They said it may take a few weeks but they would send me out replacement bulbs. This was fine since one lightbulb doesn’t effect the functionality of the entire string of lights. The bulbs did take a few weeks but they came in and the lights work splendidly. We are so excited about them especially with the weather warming up. We have spent just about every evening outside relaxing thanks to being able to see.I highly recommend them and I’m actually going to order more as a gift soon.

Fantastic solar patio lights!
Been using these lights around our patio for about a year now and these are fantastic! The solar panel has a charge indicator light on the back of the panel and is remote controlled. The solar panel/power module is removable to take inside and connect to a wall charger on shorter days of winter. In the summer it holds enough charge to power the lights all night. I really like the clip that attaches to the solar panel module, I clamped it to the frame of the patio cover, and it holds the solar panel/power module securely. The set also comes with ties and the lights have clips to give you choices in mounting or hanging. They are a soft white bulb, while not super bright they put out adequate light and give the patio a festive fun atmosphere.This is a really nice light set, I bought 2 of them and have had no issue whatsoever, it’s a great value for the money.

Perfect for my quail hut – soft light, easy setup, a few small quirks
I bought these Minetom Solar Outdoor Lights for $29 to use on my outdoor quail hut, and they’ve worked great so far. Setup was extremely easy—plug and play—with multiple options to hang or clip them in place. I used the included clip, which worked perfectly.The light is a warm glow—not too bright—which is perfect for creating a calm atmosphere without disturbing my birds. I like that the bulbs are plastic and shatterproof, especially since they’re used in an outdoor setting.The auto-on feature is handy, but with some quirks:It only turns on after it’s completely dark, not at dusk.It won’t auto-turn on if I manually turned it off the night before.There’s no timer, so I turn it off after about 4 hours to avoid disrupting the birds.The solar charging has worked well so far, and I gave it a manual USB charge the first night to get started. Just note the USB cord is short, so you’ll need to keep that in mind if charging indoors.I’ve only had them a week, so I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but so far, they’re exactly what I needed: simple, attractive, and bird-friendly.

Going on two years with these lights. They are reliable and perfect. I have cleaned the solar panel once, and probably should clean it more frequently. I had a light dim and all I needed to do was screw it back in. I would buy these again!

BULBS DO NOT WORK WELL
At the time of arrival 2 of the light bulbs werent working in less than a week another bulb is out. I would not buy this product again. I went on a ladder to hang them and not I have to take them down. I tried to get replacement bulbs ‘because It is inconvenient to return the whole set. called and wrote to the company but have not received replacement bulbs. amazon told me they could not replace the bulbs. DO NOT BUY

These lights by far offer the best options in terms of charging up and length of lights provided (29ft). I bought two sets of these; One set worked after 4 hours of USB charge as per instructions, the other set worked after a whole 12 hours of USB charge which is not according to the instructions. And the next day they were difficult to get working once the night arrived but eventually I got them to work after plugging back into USB charge for a little while. I am slightly concerned for the longevity of that particular set of lights as it took longer to work. The other set though, no problems whatsoever! The reason for dropping a star. Compared to all other options in the stores, I found this product to offer the best quality and options.

Good lights for our small patio. Installation was easy, just make sure you know where you want to install the solar panel so that it gets the right exposure to the sun. The unit can be charged via USB as well. Once set up the lights come on when it gets dark and turn off when the sun comes up. Our first use lasted around 6 hours though I don’t believe they had fully charged yet. So far good value for the price.

After charging multiple days in south facing, full sun only got one hour of run time not the 15 – 18 hours they advertise.. Tried charging with USB no luck. Called customer service followed trouble shooting steps, no luck. Followed representative’s instructions in order to get a refund or replacement…no response to my email. Then forwarded email to customer service department. Instructed to follow all the steps I’d already followed…no luck…and told USB may be incompatible (so why advertise that or not provide cable that is). Then told to provide a video. Asked what I was supposed to videotape…lights in the dark that don’t work? No response. Waited a few days. Finally decided I had been patient enough and am retuning them. Will go back to Home Depot and see whether I can purchase the ones I have that are on their last legs. They still go on for 6 hours as advertised albeit dimmer by the end of the night (and they only get northern exposure).
