Quality table
I ordered this small table for my kitchen eating area. It fits perfectly and is big enough for two to enjoy a light meal or coffee. The base is heavy and sturdy. The top is smooth and seems to be durable. It was easy to put together, only four screws required. Easily accomplished with the Allen wrench provided. Delivered together in two boxes it came within days of order. I am happy with my table that looks great with the two Tulip chairs from another source. Classic mid-century design for today.

Great table for a great price!
I bought this table with the white wood top in February 2018. It’s now the end of August and it looks as good as the day I received it. It is very heavy as other reviewers have noted, but once assembled it looks great. We use it as a breakfast table in a room that serves double duty as my daughter’s art room. I was originally concerned about surface scratches because other reviewers had noted them but this has not been a problem. Indeed, any water rings or other surface issues (which are wiped off easily) are barely noticeable because the high gloss finish. I was concerned about buying this item online sight unseen but I am very happy with my purchase!

Arrived Damages and Zero Customer Service! We
The Modway table top arrived broken! It looked suspect in the loosely packed box —retaped poorly — and sure enough when we opened the box we found the faux marble in pieces. It’s nightmare to deal with now and zero help from Modway or Ztalia (who apparently sells the table on Amazon). Modway says to deal with Ztalia and Ztalia has refused to respond. I am SO disappointed by this purchase. I’m not one to write reviews on Amazon (and gave these companies some time to write back before posting after multiple inquiries) but I don’t want others to have to deal with this if they can avoid it. This was my second round Marble table from Modway – I loved the first one and wanted a bigger table so I ordered the same one but larger 3 years later. If it arrives intact it’s an awesome table, but if it doesn’t, you are stuck with figuring out how to dispose of a VERY HEAVY BROKEN marble top and heavy base!!! I thought since the base (packed separately) arrived fine the company could just send me a table top – but zero help. Now we have to figure out what to do with this mess. It’s really too bad because I recommended this company to so many family and friends who loved our first table when they visit our home. I cannot in good conscience recommend Modway again.

Great Purchase, Beautiful, Sturdy Table
Your search is over. This is the table. I purchased the 40″ round table with white top and white base. I am the type that over-researches and can be turned off by one bad review. If you’re like me, let me put your mind at ease: the negative reviews here I just did not find to be the case for me. This was worth every penny.The table is gorgeous and sleek. The enamel is in perfect condition, no chips or scratches, after 4 months (though I do keep a table cloth on it and we don’t have kids, so it doesn’t get a lot of wear anyway). The surface is glossy and almost a little reflective as you can see in the pictures.It arrived within two days, well-packaged. It came in two pieces (the top and the base), and the top, while not too heavy, was a little bulky to carry so I recommend having two people to carry it if you are taking it up stairs. It was very easy to put together– took us less than 15 minutes. You just lay the top down on a blanket and then screw the bottom on.Size-wise 40″ was exactly what we needed. We live in a loft-style apartment and don’t have a separate dining room, so creating a dining space was a little tricky. I couldn’t have something too big that would overpower the living room, but also wanted something with enough space to have friends over for dinner. I considered the oval, but am happy I went with the round, and 40″ turned out to be the perfect size. It doesn’t look too small (tiny tables scream “college apartment” to me), but doesn’t take up a ton of room either. On a usual day we have it tucked into the corner, and pull it out when we have company. It fits 3 roomily, 4 cozily, and could probably squeeze 5 or even 6 (though 6 may be ambitious) if you’re playing a card game or something.Highly recommend.

I love this table
I’ve had this table for several months now. The table came within three weeks of ordering it; the base in one package and tabletop came the next day in another package, both packed extremely well and came thru without any problems. I am a 70 year old woman and I had no problem following directions and putting them together, although I had to have a neighbor help me pick the table up as it is very heavy. I put the table in my closed-in back porch and bought some white rattan chairs to go with it. If I were to do anything over again, I would’ve bought the 42 inch table instead of the 40 inch, but am quite happy with this. The table is very sturdy and although it’s supposed to be a faux marble it’s hard to believe it isn’t real, in the way it feels, looks, and weighs. There are so many “tulip” tables to choose from, and I spent about a year studying and reading the specs on each b4 deciding on this one, and I made the right choice.

Great, sturdy and stylish table.
Great 40″ table–perfect for a small dining nook and leaves just enough extra space for plates and cups versus the 36″ version of this table. I also appreciate that it is sturdy and moderately heavy–no wobbling at all! Although the base was heavy, I bump-slid it to my dining nook and put the topper on and fastened it all by myself. My only issue is that I found a small hairline crack in the powedercoated finish of the base (upon arrival) which has me wondering if it will crack.
