TROUBLESHOOTING: If the bulbs are not lighting up, UNPLUG the product from the electrical outlet. Tighten (or loosen) the bulbs in the sockets. The tip of the bulbs needs to touch the metal tab inside the socket for the light to turn on. If this doesn’t work, then pull the metal tabs up for each socket a little bit. If 1 or more bulbs are still not lighting up, then replace the bulb(s) with a working one(s). If the bulb(s) light up, then please contact us for replacement bulb(s).
NOTE: The 25 feet and 48 feet models do not connect. Please buy the same model/length if you want to link multiple string light cords.

Troubleshooting – EASY FIX AND THEY WORK!! 🙂
I bought a string of these lights and when I put the blubs in and plugged it in, only three of the light sockets worked (all the blubs were fine). So I returned the string and had Amazon ship me a replacement string. I put all the bulbs in the second string, and when I plugged them in, none of them worked! Pretty frustrating!I really wanted these lights so I emailed the company to see if they could help (cs@adamaxinc.com). They emailed me back pretty fast and had me try a few things. I ended up just having to gently lift the tab a little in the bottom of each socket (AFTER UNPLUGGING) so that each tab touches the bottom of each blub. And voila! They all work! :)Here is the contest of the email I received from Adamax Inc:”Thank you for contacting customer support.Please follow the troubleshooting procedure below and let us know if it works:- UNPLUG the product from the electrical outlet. Tighten (or loosen) the bulbs in the sockets.- If this doesn’t work, try to lift the metal tabs inside the socket so it could touch the bulbs, most of the time, it is the cause of the issue. Try this for 1 or 2 sockets first. The tip of the bulbs needs to touch the metal tab inside the socket for the light to turn on.- If 1 or more bulbs are still not lighting up, then replace the bulb(s) with a working one(s). If the bulb(s) light up, then the non-working bulb(s) need to be replaced and we will send you replacement bulb(s).We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”So, if yours doesn’t work when you get them, try these procedures for an EASY fix!!Very well made. I love the gentle light this light string casts! Great product! I definitely recommend this string light, even with the little bit of troubleshooting!

Great F/U customer service
The lights look and work great. Solid construction, resistant to inadvertent breakage. One of the two strands I ordered had a burned out bulb and the other was missing the spare bulb. When I contacted the company (the info in in the box), they agreed to send 3 spare bulbs. A box arrived less than a week later with 6 spare bulbs! No hassles, no charge, just good old-fashion excellent customer service.

After 3 months, these “highly rated” outdoor lights have a terrible failure rate!
I ordered and received these lights in April of 2024, this year. (When I ordered them in April, Amazon sold them as 15 string lights, offering one free replacement bulb). I installed them in May, on my rear deck. They looked good!In August, as of today, I found at least 3 sockets out of the two strings (30 sockets) have allowed the bulbs to fill with water. (If a socket leaks, the replacement bulb will soon fill with water too!) That is a 10% failure rate of these so called waterproof exterior lights – terrible quality control!I am requesting all of the 3 strings I ordered to be replaced! Or my money back! I also spent at least 5 hours rigging them, but I don’t guess I’ll ever be compensated for that lost time by Amazon!

Love these lights. Using them under my gazebo roof. They look great and provide great lighting at night. Great value, and they send extra bulbs with it!

Product didn’t work initially
Tried multiple lightbulb configurations on multiple plugs, but the entire string didn’t work.I found out that I needed to lift the contact point on each bulb within the light string, and then saw that the lights worked.

Great price for these quality outdoor lights
We had purchased some outdoor lights for double the price that were half as long with an ugly, fluorescent “warm white” glow and huge, industrial ugly bulbs. Saw that these lights were recommended, so purchased them. Sooo much better in every way! The other outdoor lights were returned and we purchased another set of these. Beautiful warm white glow, with cute little bulbs that are also sturdy. Ultra long, really lights up our patio area. Highly recommended.

look nice but ….
These lights look quite nice, although 2 things were slight disappointments: 1. Two light bulbs burned out almost immediately. They included one extra, but now I actually need two — and I hope the rest last longer! 2. The strands are heavier than I expected (they are heavy-duty which may be good in some cases) — so my aluminum support poles, driven into the ground, inevitably lean to one side. The only way I could solve this was to wire the tops of the poles to nearby trees. If you’re stringing them to something really solid, like the walls of a house or a tree, this wont be a problem of course.

good price and quality and glow
The bulbs have a nice warm glow and im sure one set will be perfect for my 10×20 pop-up tent.if you want to light up an open yard space any bigger than 10×20 you will need 2 sets and NOT brighter bulbs….so as to keep the subtle feel.8 “protective coated” bulbs spaced 3 ft apart on a quality cord that has an outlet on the end to connect another set.you can feel the water tight grip in socket. and the bulbs get warm not hot.these lights are meant for a mellow atmosphere, where you will sit , eat, drink and socialize…..your food buffet area or barbecue pit needs its own separate lighting (unless your area is very small).
