Work well
I did have to trim my 6×6 beams about 1/8 of an inch on two sides to slide it in easier but that could be the wood too. Either way they work well for the person who can make some cuts iff need be. If they were over sized it would be easier but at the same time could make the connection looser.

Great brackets, bring friends for install.
I love the look and it seems like a great heavy duty bracket. My only complaint is I wish the top wasn’t closed so beams could be lifted into it, especially since it shouldn’t be seen from the top. Maybe that’s not worth one star but it made it impossible for me to place one beam at a time since my posts were already attached to the pier pads and I wasn’t really willing to take the bracing off to try and push the posts apart for fear of breaking a 6×6 cedar post with my Herculean strength. It wasn’t really a problem, with a couple friends we lifted it up but I would think the design could be improved some. This is also a bit of user error I’d bet I am no framer. Either way I would recommend it and just remind people to bring a couple friends 6×6’s are heavy!I was able to get two beams up alone and asked a friend to help with the larger ones. We figured out fairly quickly we couldn’t make it work even after removing some lateral bracing tying them together. We assembled it on the ground and tried lifting it up but found it was a little too heavy for two dudes alone. It’s fairly awkward. With two more friends it was very easy to lift up and slide the posts into the cap. Hope that story saves someone our awkward attempt at two manning it and almost dropping it. Cheers.

Only two came in the delivery
Hopefully this was a mistake but only two corners came in the delivery. I returned them and am supposed to be getting a new delivery tomorrow. Itll be very disappointing if i get a set of two instead of four again.

You may have a tight fit.
I was able to use them, but they will not just slide over a 6x6x8 to the center. I was using them for an “outside-of-the-box” project. I ended up cutting them. I did purchase them used and got a good deal, so I can’t complain.

These are very nicely welded and finished. They are a bit heavy but very good quality material used. my husband did a pergola and they look amazing. Love the look. It was easy to put together but on the heavy side, you will need extra helping hands. these are for 6×6 timbers.

beautiful and simple
These are well built and nice looking. The brackets are easy to assemble but realize that these will be very heavy as you are assembling them. Just the box of brackets without the wood is heavy.The design of these brackets is such that if you get your wood dimensioned to the right sizes and the ground is level assembly is simple, if you have help… the help is not because the construction is hard… but because the parts are heavy.These make it very easy to create a gazebo.

Be prepared to modify your wood post to fit.
Good quality material and finish. They look really nice once complete bit getting there was a challenge. The openings to receive the beams were a little small. After take a belt sander to the ends of the beams we still had to use ratchet straps to force them on. As for the post opening at the bottom, they were way off. Had to shave !lol 4 sides of both post with a table the depth of the T to get them to fix the 6×6. Both were undersized and out of square.

Item arrived with zero protective packaging. Items were banging together all the way from china. Cheap paint job, not powder coated like the description says. Will be rusted and rotten within a year. Item will be returned
