Didnt we ditch console TVs for this?
This is the perfect unselfish TV stand – if you are not interested in a piece of furniture that gobbles up space and forces you to put “stuff” on it to make it worth the space it is taking up, then you need this TV stand. It does its job, nothing more and nothing less – it holds up the TV. I replaced a giant and expensive TV stand for this because I was tired of dusting it and being unable to move it around. This stand was about a quarter of the price and is a perfect fit in my life. It came within 12 hours. It took about 30 minutes to put together including mounting the TV, its super-sturdy yet completely mobile. There is a small shelf that you can mount or leave off – it is just big enough for a game console (or dvd player if you are still using one). What you dont get (that could be a deal breaker for you) – you dont get any kind of “cord winder” or “cord keeper” to organize any cords from the TV, cables/streaming boxes, etc. I wish that it would have at least come with some velco straps to tie everything down – but I still love it. You also dont get fashion – this is all utility but its so minimal that it would fit most anywhere.I finally have space back in my room. It will be easy to clean and move to clean behind. And I can now move the TV anywhere in the room with little disruption. If you are looking for a high quality, sturdy TV stand – this is the RIGHT STAND and the RIGHT PRICE. Highly Recommend!

Easy install and price is good
Great purchase and easy install so don’t get overwhelmed with all the screws. They provide different screws according to what one may need. This is very sturdy for my tv and the foot locks keep it in place. Love to cook and see the tv at the same time in the kitchen. Good value for the money.

It is what they say it is, and it works as described and well.
I don’t write a lot of reviews. Most things are either “blah…it is what it is and nothing special” or “it was a PITA and I returned it or it just wasn’t right. This one, though…it IS what they say it is AND it actually was much better, and easier to put together, than I thought when I made the purchase. So, back story…..I have an “extra 55in TV” since it just got repaired and I had gotten a replacement in the meantime. I also have a “games room” with a full size craps table, seating, dart board, etc. I wanted to mount the TV but, due to windows in that room, the only place I could mount it on the wall would actually be on the fireplace. I hesitated doing that. So, I searched for portable TV stands. I had looked, years ago, for similar, and didn’t like what I saw. This time, I looked at a few dozen. I read the reviews (filtering out the BS ones, imo) and read the questions (people! Read product descriptions before asking questions! I saw a lot of questions that were answered either in the product title or immediate description). After a few hours of research, I went back to one of the first 2 I had initially looked at, and this was the one I chose. It arrived and, as I am having some problems with my leg, I can’t knee or squat down or do other things that would have made putting it together much easier, but, that said, I was still able to do it, on my own.Just took a little longer, but still didn’t take too long. Probably 30 minutes. When putting together, unpack everything, place on table (in my case) or floor, and have the instructions out. Follow the instructions. Nothing tricky. They are actually pretty easily written in English and the photos are easy to follow as well. Don’t get ahead of yourself and just doublecheck your steps as you go.They give you all the tools you need (until the end when you do need a small philips head screwdriver to secure the mount in the last step). All the parts are there, and segmented appropriately, in the packaging…and labeled well….instead of a mishmash of parts where you have to separate them on your own.The TV I mounted was a Samsung 55″ LCD and I was able to mount it on my own (I’m 5’10” and not weak, but I feel that most males around my size and many females that are 5’6″ or more, and are ok lifting 30-40 pounds on their own can do this. Wingspan has more to do with this than lifting weights for this. If in doubt, get a friend. Most 2 person groups could lift and mount super easily, I believe).I’ve had it installed and in use all afternoon and this evening now, as I put it next to my craps table and I have been shooting dice with it on. I enjoy having my TV in the same room instead of just hearing it from another room….and, when the weather gets nice again, with this mount, we can always wheel it out on the deck and watch TV in the evening while enjoying the outdoors. The one thing that I wish were a little different is the tray. What they have done is functional and no complaints. I just wish there were an easy way to have the tray on the back of the unit as I don’t like stuff distracting my view when I am watching TV (that’s on me for letting it distract me). I do understand that, for some, that wouldn’t work to have it on the backside as it may, depending on what is put there, unbalance the unit and cause a tipping hazard though.Overall, for the price paid, this is pretty darn good. Does not feel cheap or shoddy at all. Feels well constructed and quality parts. Good job on making this!

Good stand; the complaints aren’t valid (for the most part).
I bought this TV/monitor stand despite a few reviews that were, frankly, horrendous. I don’t normally review products, but I feel a need to correct many misunderstandings. I’d like to address the complaints.1. It is hard to assemble. One reviewer even looked at all the parts and closed the box. While assembly is not just snapping a couple of parts together, it is not crazy hard. Yes, there are an abundance of parts, but many of them are there because there are several ways to build the stand depending on your specific TV. In the end, I had over three dozen bolts, washers, and spacers that were not needed because they did not fit my TV. Had my TV had different features, then I would have used some of those but not the ones that I did use.The assembly took me a little over an hour. If I were to do it again, it would probably take about 30 minutes. While the instructions could have been a little better, I could have also read them more closely. I would assemble one again with no second thoughts. In fact, I am thinking of buying a new one only this time, I won’t fear the assembly.2. The TV attachment is not adjustable. This objection is partially correct. Once set up, you cannot easily adjust the height. There are a couple of ways to “cheat” this, however. I wanted my monitor to be at eye level when I was sitting in a desk chair. The standard height was way too high for that. I simply removed one of the two main poles and it came down to about the right height. After that, I noticed that there was a great deal of allowed variance in installing the TV brackets, probably six inches or so. This gave me the ability to finely adjust the resulting height of the monitor. Between these two workarounds, I found that the TV height was reasonably adjustable. But no, once installed, to adjust it, you would have to redo two parts of the installation. Also, there is no easy adjusting it from highest to lowest, so the complaints are based in reality.3. The stand is designed in such a way that it can easily fall over. Again, this is only partially correct. When looking at the legs (feet”) the front ones stick far out, and the back ones are really short. It looks like it would easily tump over backwards. In reality, however, it isn’t that bad. The construction is heavy enough, and it doesn’t tip back easily; I know because I tried to do it before trusting it with my monitor. I found no problem with it. As some have said, it could be a wholly different matter on carpet or going over door jams or something. You would have to be careful in those situations. Mine is on a wood floor and the only time that I need to use the rollers is to fold it into my desk when I am not using it. That said, even on a wood floor, I would be really careful when moving it, but that should be done anyway, right? In all, it is a solidly built, fairly easy-to-assemble stand. As I said above, I am considering getting another one and it will probably be the same one. The only reason for four, instead of five, stars, is that two of the complaints are partially valid. If I was able to change anything, it would be to make the back legs longer. They should also be more up front in telling people that it is not easily adjustable.
