READ THIS BEFORE ASSEMBLING CHAIRS!!!
I read all the reviews about these chairs being difficult to assemble, but as they suited my needs I decided to take a chance and order them.One of the primary complaints in other reviews is that the instructions are unclear. I didn’t find that to be the case, but what I did find is that the instructions are WRONG!The instructions advise you use the long screws (part #1) in steps one and two, when in actuality, you should use the short screws (part #2) in steps one and two. Then, in step four, use the long screws (part #1) to attach the backrest of the chair. See attached photos.With the exception of this error on the instructions, the chairs are quite easy to assemble. They are also very nice, and seem sturdy. I do not yet know how they will hold up with use, but time will tell.I will say, they are a tad darker than they appeared in the pictures, but they are still close enough to my dining set to work for me.I am using these chairs as additional seating at my small dining table, for when I have company. I selected them because they are small enough that I can still push my table close to the wall, when they are not needed. As you can see from my pictures, they fit the space nicely, and add a little texture to my decor.

Defective holes and screws for the bottom; can’t be assembled
Sent a defective chair. The bars that support the bottom part of the chair and its short screws don’t work. They fit very loosely in the holes, so the support bars are loose and wobbly and can’t be secured. Defective and impossible to assemble. Only the headrest could be assembled.

The rattan looks and feels a lot like plastic. For this price you think you’d get something a little nicer. Also not impressed with how the chair doesn’t lock into place when extended. But it is basically ok looking and comfortable so far.

I recently got these two wooden chairs for our front porch, and they’ve been an absolute delight. I got the version without the arm rests, which are foldable. They are absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. No assembly required either. Only docking one star because this comes with the holes for the armrests and they are not covered so I’ll have to get wood stickers.
