I love the quality of their linen and I’ve purchased numerous table runners from them. They are always perfectly sewn and I’m super picky! The red is a true “Christmas “ red.

Good quality, but thin/transparent
I got this in the 48″ light gray. Using it for a long, 9″ shelf on the backside of my kitchen sink, separating it from the dining room. I am trying to be minimal, but, I have a fruit bowl there, plus a small white pitcher with faux greenery, and I keep some of my brewing teas there on a white plate. I folded this runner in half to put beneath those three items, and it looks so good and classy!!! I originally wanted a long tray with sides to hold everything, in addition to the runner, but I have become so minimalistic recently, and I came to love the simple idea of this runner with my items placed directly on top of it. The classiness and minimalism/neutrality of this runner just brings it all together so well. I didn’t iron the runner, as the light wrinkles give it that air of authenticity, which I love. I love everything about this runner, except that if I were to use it on my dark dining room table, I fear the darkness of the wood would show through, as this runner is thin (but also strong). I don’t agree with the idea of the thinness, as it serves no purpose except to profit the sellers, etc. Many of these runners cannot be used on dark tables for that reason, which could be resolved by doubling the thickness. Since I folded mine over, it gives it more “oomph,” though I did not need the opacity of folding it over for my purposes, but the “oomph” from folding it over is still nice. I know if I were to choose another of these runners for my table, I would have to factor in the thinness and the color of the wood or the tablecloth, etc., and it would be 10x better to just choose freely, without concern over opacity. The thinness is the only reason for four stars!The quality is great, otherwise, and since it’s linen, I expect it to last well. It was a super great purchase for me, and I encourage anyone interested to buy this runner, but take the transparency into account first, and decide accordingly.The packaging is also elegant and beautiful, so this is very lovely for gifting.I have another of their runners, which I use as a dresser scarf, and I’m thrilled with it. I thought I would appreciate the runners with some texture/waft for that, but no, the flatness of these linen runners is great, I think, and for sure as a dresser scarf.Despite the thinness, this is still an excellent runner, and I recommend this to anyone!!
