super comfy, versatile, and well made
I bought this hammock because of its versatility (hammock or chair swing) – and ease of switching between the two options. And that it is! Although I plan to use the chair swing option mostly, switching over to a hammock is simple. Actually, even just putting it together was a breeze; just minutes. However, this is no lightweight hammock. The box states it is almost 40 pounds – so clearly the steel poles are not lightweight – and I had to have my movers bring the box in the house for me when I moved. Even assembling it, I had to take the poles out a few at a time as opposed to carrying the box. But all the technical stuff aside, it very comfortable as a swing. The canvas appears heavy weight, but still soft. The hooks and straps are very heavy duty. After putting it up, I fell right to sleep in it. 🙂 My only slight disappointment is the color of the fabric for the chair. I guess I thought since I ordered the blue and white striped hammock that the sling was interchangeable between the chair swing and hammock. I did not realize I would get two slings! The chair sling is black – but I was hoping for the blue and white stripes. But not a deal breaker, for sure.

2-in-1 hammock-chair – Works great – comfortable, easy & strong.
Bought to take along camping at the beach. Just the thing for a lazy afternoon in the sun reading a good book. Easy to setup and move around. Weighs a bit but that’s because the metal tubing is heavy gauge. The two functions – as chair or as hammock – make it worth the higher cost over units that are just hammock. The chair mode is very comfortable. All in all, good unit & would buy again.

Comfy, easy and fun!
I got this for my porch, and it is just as comfortable and fun as I’d hoped! The canvas is sturdy and doesn’t look likely to mold if I forget to take it in in the rain. The frame feels heavy and solid, and was pretty easy to assemble by myself (although it would have been easier with a second person to help.) Only two minor drawbacks:1. converting between chair and hammock is a major PITA, which is why I keep it in chair mode2. The frame rocks back and forth when I try to swing, which makes it feel a tiny bit unstableThat’s why it’s four stars instead of 5. Still, very happy I got it!

Love the hammock chair option but not too crazy about the actual hammock option. In my opinion, the hammock is way too close to the ground.

Purchased this as a birthday gift to myself and I was very afraid it was going to be junk. Y’all I am so happy I got this. The box was heavy so I had to open it to carry it separately to where I needed, it was backed well with bubble wrap around every piece. It was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I did not need tools to put it together. It’s so comfy and relaxing. I’m currently setting legs up in the chair and just enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. I love how the back of the chair goes up higher to support my head and I think it would support someone’s head much bigger than me too. There is a nice size pocket in the material. The material is thick like canvas, it is a little scratchy but I think that will soften with time. After some time I do thing the rope will need to be replaced if it’s left outside but that’s the case with anything left outside. This is without a drought worth every penny I spent on it. Happy Birthday to me.

Love it!!
I simply love this thing! The directions aren’t that descriptive but once you figure it out, it’s real easy to assemble and switch it between hammock and swing. It’s very easy to move, I put a foot under the bottom (any place) 5o lift it and drag/move with my hand on opposite side. I had to partially disassemble it to get it down the hallway.I use a seat cushion under my legs when in the swing so circulation doesn’t get cut off.Swinging in the swing is so easy. My only complaint is that the top comes down over my head sometimes.

Such a huge dissapointment
Hugely dissapointed, I have had several hammocks over the years, prefer them to a bed/mattress, this was intended to be used indoors as a replacement for my sofa, assumed it would be of usual quality, expected to give a 5 star review, except..where the upright poles connect, the outer pole fits too loosely over the inner (base) pole, causing the hammock pole to jerk when the hammock swings forward or back even gently, with an audible clunking noise…which defeats any possibility of comfort or relaxation. Never had this issue with other hammock framesover the years. The quality is otherwise stellar, pristine packaging, great instructions, super easy to assemble, love the ease of switching from full hammock to chair mode, etc.I contacted the seller, will update if I receive any response or resolution.

It’s too small for my husband; he is 5’10” and 200 lbs.I am 5’1″ and 120 lbs and works ok for me. If it was longer and wider, It would have been ok.So, if you are looking for one, look at the measurements of this one and look for something bigger.I do not recommend it.
