Great little chess board!
I’m learning to play chess via an app and wanted a small board that I could physically play on. I wasn’t looking for fancy, just small. After reading reviews and looking at pictures of many travel sized boards, I settled on this one. It has magnetic pieces, folds up to be pocket sized, and feels pretty well made for what it is. The price was good as well. I like that on the box it’s got how each piece moves and has a little paper inside as well. That’s something I’m still trying to remember and having it on hand is convenient. I cut the picture off the box to keep with the board. The pieces move easily and stay on the board pretty well. The magnets are strong enough to keep them where you want them, but not so strong you struggle to move them.Maybe one day I’ll get a fancy board I can leave out all the time, but until then, this one is perfect for what I was looking for. It’s compact, easy to carry and store, and I look forward to playing on it.

Great travel chess set!
Great magnetic set for travel! Fits in my son’s backpack, is light weight, and the magnetic is a plus on planes and in vehicles. I keep a small bag in it so as pieces are removed they go in the bag. We haven’t lost a piece yet. Love the little print out of how the pieces moved as I hadn’t played in years & needed a refresher to play with my kids. The quality is good and I think it will last.

Highly recommend
Loved this cute travel chess board. It looks exactly as pictured and works seem less. Magnetic strength is just right and stays put as intended. Build quality is excellent. It light weight and well designed for travel. Storage capacity is just right to hold all pieces together when not in use. My kids loved playing chess while traveling

Nice little chess set
I bought this as a gift for my son. He is a boyscout, and this will be nice to bring on campouts and trips. The pieces are magnetic and stick to the board, they also store right inside. The only thing that is disappointing idea the plastic that is used for the hinge is very thin and will likely break.

Really cool
Really cool. I like how small it is, that you can fold it up and the pieces fit inside. Magnets are decent too, def will be good to have on the go for chess lovers.

High Quality Travel Chess Board
I am a Digital Nomad and travel full time and this was one of the best purchases i’ve made. It’s a great product for the price and very easy to store/use. It folds in half and you store the pieces inside. We use this board at the bar, restaraunts, parks, wineries, etc. It’s extremely durable and the pieces are magnetic, making it easy to use. Highly recommend

Not bad, with one inconvenience
Size, magnets, and piece designs are all fine. I would take off 1/2 of a star if I could, just because of an inconvenience for me. I was hoping that on a bumpy ride, i could just yank out a handful of pieces, stick on the magnetic side without any falling. This is of course not possible, since doing so doesn’t guarantee the bottom of pieces are contacting the magnet. So you have to do 1 piece at a time to make sure bottom hits magnetic side first. Then after all the pieces are on the magnet, flip board and set up the board moving all the pieces again (a waste of time). In the end I just keep a small bag to pour all the pieces in, flip the board and place pieces in correct spots.
