Love this fountain for my work desk. It is not loud at all! You can’t hear the motor very quiet which is great. Added my own crystals to it. Very tranquil for my desk. Will be adding a plant to go with it. Over all love it!!!

Neutral relaxing water fountain
Great option for a tabletop fountain. We added rocks to the waterfall to give it a more natural appearance. Love the neutral color and option to add a plant.

Very much like the picture, makes exactly the lovely sound I expected.
It does look VERY much like the photos, except that the water flow does not, without adding some other object(s) to the flow path, flow evenly over the whole stepped thing. If you’re getting it for the sound (as I did), you probably won’t care. The motor is very quiet; I can just hear it whirring, and it is not an unpleasant sound, and much quieter than the waster trickling. The “planter” is a separate removable cylinder, with a hole in the bottom, which I guess is meant to be for drainage, though the pocket it fits into is sealed. It takes about 3 cups (0.7L) of water to fill it to the “minimum fill” line, and about 3.5 cups (0.8L) to reach the maximum fill line. They recommend changing the water, and cleaning if necessary, weekly. If you do that, unless your air is extremely dry, you will probably not need to add water between changes (like oil in a Japanese car). If you use municipal water, that should IMHO be enough that a real cleaning should only be necessary once or twice a year. But be advised that things like this will accumulate dirt in the water; I suppose mostly from dust and spores in the air, and also minerals in the water. If you regularly have distilled water anyway, it’s a good idea to use it here, too. Do not expect significant or measurable humidification, or else it would need to hold a lot more water and be refilled often.Note that it uses USB power; you will need to have a computer of some sort or a USB power block nearby; the cord is about 3-4′ (1m) long, and it uses 0.25a, with is well within the capabilities of even the smallest USB power supply. If you leave it running 24×7 for a year, it would use roughly 26 kWh, or about about $3 of power.

A Zen Moment
Absolutely love this fountain. It has a sleek modern design and it doesn’t take up too much room. The motor isn’t loud and it’s so lovely hearing trickling and flowing water sounds throughout my work day. It makes my office feel so zen.

fountain stream is NOT like in the photos..
Very solid construction but the stream doesnt uniformly flow over the ridges and only covers like 30% at the most..

Es una fuente preciosa y en realidad es mucho más grande de lo que parece así que muy contenta produce un sonido muy bonito aunque sí que es cierto que hay que tener en cuenta que hay que rellenar con agua porque evapora para que no empiece a producir un sonido extraño es súper bonita
