Exactly what I was looking for – perfect size and excellent quality for the price! I filled them with artificial flowers & they look gorgeous! They seem to be handling all sorts of weather conditions very well on my shepherd’s hooks. Very pleased!

I ordered the 12-in basket. It’s the perfect size for outdoor hanging baskets in the summer. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use this until next year, as it’s too late in the season to put it out this year.They are very nicely made, with a thick coco liner that should do well for retaining water during the hot summer months. The metal basket is a simple but elegant design and they are lightweight.The hook seems sturdy, but I am concerned about how thin the chains and the hooks at the bottom are. There is nothing in the listing that suggests how much weight the planters will hold, Also, although they seem to be nicely painted, I worry about rust. Since there are three chains, it definitely takes the pressure off any individual strand, so I hope they will do well for a standard hanging planter. Since the basket will be constantly exposed to water, I’m concerned about rust on that as well. Only time will tell on that front.For now, I am pleased with them and I appreciate the design and general aesthetic. They should make for a lovely presentation from my hanging hooks on the porch next summer. The current price is in line with similar products

I’m on the fence….
I haven’t used these yet, as it’s almost the middle of August and I don’t have anything to put in them this late in the season. I plan to use them next year, and due to my extensive experience with various other planters, I am still able to review them accurately, despite not having used them yet.There’s honestly nothing special about these hanging baskets; this design is probably the most common I have seen available pretty much anywhere. Their current price point is also fairly average compared to other similar-sized and styled hanging baskets. I would say that while the metal used for the basket isn’t the thickest I have seen, it’s a long way from what the dollar store uses and should definitely hold up for much longer. So again, it’s fairly average.Originally, when I first got these, I was impressed with the quality, especially for the price. It wasn’t until I actually took a good look at them that I realized there was a significant manufacturing error on one of them. The top section with the scroll-like design was not welded correctly during manufacturing, causing the bottom of some of the curves to go behind the horizontal wire underneath, while others went in front. One of them isn’t welded at all, causing it to snag on things sometimes. It’s difficult to explain, so I included some pictures showing exactly what the problem is.While this isn’t the end of the world and in no way impacts the functionality or durability of the basket, it is definitely noticeable and doesn’t look good. This might not be an issue for the majority of the baskets, as it’s only a problem with one of the two I received. I also didn’t see this particular issue mentioned in any of the other reviews so far. Without knowing for sure if the issue with mine is a one-time occurrence or more widespread, it’s hard to recommend them definitively. If by the time you’re reading this there are plenty more reviews with no mention of manufacturing errors, then by all means, get them. However, if there are other reviews that complain about bad welding, I would probably steer clear. That’s the reason for the 3-star review.One thing I do like about them is the coco liners they come with. I have other similar planters that also use coco liners, and their liners don’t go above the top of the basket; they actually go underneath it. This is a problem because there’s nothing preventing water from pouring off the edge when watering. I also have similar planters with coco liners that do go higher, and I don’t have the same issue with them. The liners that come with these baskets actually go well above the top of the planter, which means I know I won’t have this problem with them.All in all, had both of my baskets been made correctly, I would have no problem giving them 5 stars. The wire used to make them is sturdy enough to handle the added weight of the soil, plants, and water. Also, their coating means they won’t be rusting any time soon. I don’t think the hooks or chains are coated the same way the baskets are; I believe they are just painted. So, I can’t comment on their durability, as only time will tell. However, minus the manufacturing issue, these planters are a solid option worth considering when looking for new hanging baskets for your yard.

Looks nice hanging on porch
These look nice hanging from our porch with plants in them. The materials are adequate, nothing less than what you would expect. Size is accurate and allows you to fit a nicely sized porch plant in them. Assembly is virtually not required so that’s not an issue. They allow water to flow through them so your soil doesn’t get soggy after a generous watering.
