Great product to reinforce the existing pergola structure
The package was tight! Unlike the other cheap one I ordered previously, this one came in a small box – nicely arranged with all accessories. The paint was also good. Used them on my existing Toja grid to reinforce the structure.

Dressed up, my pergola very nicely.
Overall, it’s a great product and worked as expected. The only downside was after the first rainfall some of the black paint bled out onto the post. It was mounted to it only did this the first few rains so I’ll need to sand the post and re-stain it in the spring. I also recommend caulking the bottom bracket which I didn’t have a chance to do prior to the first rainfall. That may have helped prevent the issue.

Great Gazebo Post Brackets
For any DIYer looking to build a sturdy, square structure, the connection points are everything. The ORIGLE 8-piece set of 4×4 brackets is a heavy-duty, no-nonsense solution that takes the guesswork out of building corners. These brackets are designed for projects like pergolas, deer stands, and play sets, and their construction inspires serious confidence. The first thing you notice is the weight. These are not flimsy pieces of decorative metal. Each 3-way right-angle bracket is made from thick, heavy-gauge steel with a durable black powder-coat finish. This coating is essential for any outdoor project, as it provides a strong barrier against rust and corrosion. The welds are clean and solid, with no gaps or weak spots.Functionally, they are a dream to use. Each bracket is designed to snugly hold a standard 4×4 post (which is actually 3.5″ x 3.5″). The fit is perfect—tight enough to hold the wood securely but with just enough tolerance to slide the post in without a sledgehammer. The 3-way design is ideal for creating the top corners of a pergola or the base of a raised platform. It ensures your corners are perfectly square and incredibly strong, handling forces from three different directions. The kit includes all the necessary pre-drilled holes, and they are well-placed for maximizing strength. You get multiple mounting options for securing the wood inside the bracket, as well as holes for mounting the bracket itself to a base (like a deck or concrete pad, though this specific bracket is more for corner connections). Using these brackets turned what could have been a complicated joinery job (like a three-way half-lap) into a simple “cut-and-bolt” operation. This saves a massive amount of time and guarantees a professional-level result. The 8-pack is a great value, providing enough brackets for two complete rectangular structures (like two pergola “bents”) or one complex build.Pros and ConsPros:Incredibly Sturdy: Made from heavy-gauge, powder-coated steel that won’t bend or rust.Saves Time: Drastically simplifies the process of building square corners. No complex joinery required.Perfect Fit: Designed to fit standard 4×4 posts snugly and securely.Versatile: Ideal for a wide range of DIY projects, from pergolas and play sets to workbenches.Ensures Squareness: Takes the guesswork out of making perfect 90-degree corner connections.Cons:Hardware Not Included: The package contains the brackets, but you must supply your own lag bolts.Slightly Industrial Look: The aesthetic is very functional and may not suit a delicate or highly ornate project.

Fast assembly!
I needed these to build a frame for an outdoor shower for the pool. Very secure and stable and made construction easier.

Great starter set for a pergola build
I used these to expand a pergola with closed in storage area and it simplified the process immensely. The old day tin had dwarf made it easy to build but, it was rubbish. This is heavy gauge metal that it coated well for protection and it looks really niv as well. I stain my wood a really dark color to go with the black and it looks sharp. As per this package, it included the pieces u use most often and they were packaged at a very reasonable price. Overall a good deal at a great price.
