Sturdy Build with Lots of connectors and screws!!
I’ve always been a little nervous about swinging in a hammock. My mind immediately goes to the weakest link, picturing a dramatic, slow-motion fall. So when I decided to get a hammock chair, I knew I needed a hanging kit that was ridiculously over-engineered for the job. Enter the Velomill Hammock Hanging Kit. The 1000 lb capacity instantly convinced me. I mean, I don’t know who needs to hang a small car from their ceiling, but it’s comforting to know that this thing could do it. The “360° Rotate” feature is a nice bonus, so I can spin around and get dizzy without having to untangle anything.The installation was a breeze, and the hooks feel incredibly sturdy, like they’re a permanent part of the building’s foundation. Now, I can sit back in my chair with zero anxiety. The squeaking and creaking of my old setup are gone, replaced by a quiet, secure swing that moves without any fuss. It’s been months now and these are still mounted to my ceiling. They’re used to hold the hammock chairs we game in. They’ve also been through my child and her cousins climbing, swinging, and doing flips on them. The mounts don’t even creak. They’re so freaking secure and I love it, they’ve done wonders for my nerves.They function perfectly, they let the chairs swivel and the kids do spins. The weight capacity is at least enough for my husband and child to sit together. And three children at once.Definitely worth your money.

Great hanger, its a little lose in the side to side so swinging one way is fine but swinging the other Clicks. I have just been dealing with it but some washers might take care of the issue. its like 1 to 2 mm too wide where the U-bolt rests inside of the bracket.

Very sturdy swinging brackets!
I’m actually impressed with how well these swinging brackets were machined. I was referred these by a friend that used them for the same application, hung 2 hammock swings on my patio with ease. Hardware included is sturdy as well and I doubt I could yank the bracket out even if I wanted to. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to hang heavy items from your ceiling!

Go on, spoil yourself
Lovelovelove this hammock swing chair thing! I am a biiiiiig lady, and I’m skeptical about posted weight limits, even if they are supposed to be twice my weight. This swing did not disappoint. I was hard pressed to get out of it, but did manage to steal some quality time in it on this lovely summer night.If you’re a hefty, curvaceous lass, or a very hefty fella, give it a go! I think you’ll be pleased.
