Comfy for a morning swing in the Midwest breeze
This is a great hammock chair. I am a smidge taller than 5’5″. With about 6 inches of spare fabric above my head, the edge of the hammock hits me mid-calf. I could get farther up in it and get support down to my ankles. By scrunching the fabric up before getting in it, you can change where your backside ends up. Lying in this thing is so comfortable. It hugs and supports without forcing me into weird positions.We hung this chair under our deck. As a ginger, the sun and I don’t get a long well, and our deck is tall, so it gives me shade and a sturdy place to hang the hammock. We used a 5 foot swing strap for attaching swings to trees to hang this so we didn’t have to drill into the deck supports.I put the hammock on the bar inside out. The pocket is on the outside for me because of that. I don’t care enough to fix it, but if you want that pocket next to you on the inside, double check it before you put the top rope on. The top rope might look too short at first, but it stretches out.Overall, I am enjoying my morning time in the hammock chair. I am in Missouri and it has been too hot to be out in the afternoon and way to muggy in the evening, but the breezes in the morning feel wonderful. You get good air movement because the back is the only part that really blocks airflow.The only downside to the chair so far is that it deposited a fair bit of lint on my clothes. I assume that will go away with time.I got the waterproof cover to go over it when it isn’t in use. It is useful to keep the chair itself clean and dry. We have birds that like to nest under the deck, so it’s not just rain I want to keep off of the hammock! I know myself well enough to know that I won’t use the chair as much if I feel the need to clean it before each use.

The most comfortable swing chair I have ever sat it. I love it! It wraps around you and you can just swing yourself to sleep! I can’t sit still long in a traditional chair but I can in my hammock chair. We hung it in the living room! It’s made very well and sturdy. It looks great too! I recommend it highly and am planning to order more for the porch!

4.5 🌟! I’ve had one like it before (smaller), but ordered this one to have more room for my legs. I’m only 5’2 and have taken several naps in it over the past week! The large pocket is nice to be able told hold a phone, book, or water bottle (my Stanley fit including the handle) . I had an existing chain from a precious hammock chair, so this took me less than 5 minutes to unbox, assemble, and hang. The 1/2 ⭐️ deduction is only because a more breathable fabric would be ideal, but we’ll save that for a perfect world. Would definitely recommend!

Just okay
Not a bad hammock for the price. Easy to set up in my backyard tree. Taking a star away since the chair itself isn’t that big and there’s not as much fabric that goes under the legs as the pictures show. I also make sure to bring the hammock inside my garage if I know it’s going to storm or be super windy to prevent the fabric from breaking down.

The Best!
This swing is so comfortable, it’s like a hammock, your whole body fits in the swing . Im only 5″2, so i have lots of room. and I really love the extra long spreader bar, you have way more room than the standard swing chairs. It hangs from our big tree and I will be spending many summer days relaxing. I’m sure I will sleep in it also on nice summer nights. Good quality and price. And look nice also.

Absolute bliss, OMG, you should def buy this!!!
So, I just recently moved from an NYC apt to a house with a porch…and at first I got some rocking chairs with cushioned seats, and they’re fine for an hour or so; but if you’re like me and want to enjoy your outdoor spaces with a good book in comfort for HOURS, the cushioned rocking chair wasn’t cutting it. I always liked the *idea* of a hanging swing seat, and at this price, I thought, why not? Let me tell you, it is now my favorite part of my house. I feel like I’m in the womb when I’m in there!!!! Especially if you pull your feet up inside, it’s like a kind of sensory therapy; like a weighted blanket that’s compressing you from underneath (not in a constricting way– in a cradling way). It just feels incredible. I get in there with a book and the hours just FLY by. I’ll probably end up sleeping in it at some point. I can’t believe how much happiness I’m getting from something that was, relatively speaking, so cheap!!!!It’s definitely very sturdy– I weigh 250 lbs & it’s bolted to the roof of my porch (and my house was built in 1888!), and it doesn’t shudder or creak or anything. It feels extremely solid. I’ve only had it a week, but already everyone who’s come over & sat in it wants one. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. GET IT.
