Perfect plant shelf
I got this for my plants. Having all the shelves and rods is helpful for the different pot types I have. I am able to attach grow lights to the shelves. It seems great for the weight of a lot of plants. It was easy to set up and seems like a good value.

Very solid alternative to custom closet options
I fortunately stumbled upon this closet kit when I was trying to come up with a solution for my Mother-In-Law’s closet area. The walls were unfortunately either too long or short for the Closetmaid products. I also looked at having Home Depot custom cut me some Rubbermaid shelves as well, but after including all the brackets and such that added up to $240+. This solution for $80 is very very solid. You can even buy two if you have at least 6’ x 6’ area in your closet. As far as the product itself, it’s sturdy enough, but not sturdy as a rock. But it’s more than sufficient. Putting it together is easy too, and only requires on person. One tip that I found odd in the instructions is you want to actually put the tension rod brackets on much earlier in the shelf building process than it says (like the first tension rod bracket should almost be on the first (lowest) bar). The way they have you do it you have to unscrew the top portions to put the tension brackets back on after you’ve already built your two side shelf stacks. I got the chrome metal version of this and it looks pretty good. I’d love for Amazon to offer parts if this to better allow you to customize your combos a little more to better fit individual closets, but this still deserves 5 stars for sure. Tremendous value.

Building this reminds me of replacing spark plugs
This will hold a lot of clothes and that’s what it is excellent for. I used in my small kitchen for storing oats and stuff and while it’s functional that’s not what it was designed for so, it doesn’t utilize the space in the most efficient way possible. For plates or something it would be great because you can stack them pretty high but, unless you plan on attaching it with the included anti tip hardware then, I wouldn’t because if there isn’t a lot of weight at the bottom it is not sturdy. I weighted mine down with 80lbs of rice on the bottom of each tower and it’s not moving unless you really try to topple it. Ok pro’s/cons and what you should look out for when building it.Pros: holds 100lbs per shelf and a total weight capacity of 1500lbs. Easy to build and maneuver were you need it. Lightweight only weights 37lbs fully constructed. Versatile applications.Cons: Lightweight is also a double edged blade here because a child could easily topple this over if you don’t take care to weight it down at the bottom shelves. Shelves aren’t wide enough but, only by a few inches. A bit wobbly so, you have to play around with the screw feet at the bottom to get it to sit right.Build advice:1. Familiarize yourself with all the parts and lay them out first with all the bags open already. The black clips especially because they have an labeled up position and I put them all together first so when you need to use them you just seperate them and slide ½ over the rod until it stops sliding and clips then attach the other ½, which will not fully connect 100% only 90%.2. Have a mallet and a phillips handy. The mallet is the more useful tool as you need to pound the metal squares into the clips a few times to get them to seat correctly. You only need the philips for 4 screws and whomever engineered this was actually pretty clever.3. Pay attention to the diagram at the back of the manual it comes with. You have to count the notches in the diagram to get the black clips in the right place so that it’s perfect where the tops line up in the end and they actually are accurate in the number of notches but, they could have been illustrated larger so, you might need a magnifying glass if you can’t see that well.4. Pay attention to the orientation of the squares and make sure if you put them so that the bars are horizontal or vertical that all the rest are too or it won’t line up ever so slightly when it’s done.

Very sturdy portable closet
It was fairly easy to assemble and adjust. It’s just tedious to do because you have to add a little stopper piece on each bar over and over to keep the shelves from moving/slipping. 4 stoppers per shelf. It took me a good hour and a half to read the instructions and assemble. It’s very sturdy after assembling it though so it’s worth the time spent. I have 3 winter coats hanging and other clothing as well and it holds up perfectly fine. The shelves hold a full stack of jeans in weight. They hold my 20 lbs total free weights I use. My only real issue is that the mats that keep things from falling through the grates on each shelf are too flimsy and the inch of corner edges are not supported as well. I suggest finding another mat that is thicker or just as thick. Otherwise the mats probably need to be a bit thicker for better support if you plan to store smaller items like perfume bottles or things of similar size. Other than that it looks quite nice and is durable as heck. I got it in the chrome. This for sure is one of the better portable closets on the market.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and strong
This isn’t the traditional use for the clothes storage rack, I know. Sadly, my super tiny kitchen requires some creative space saving options so this is what I came up with! This is its smallest size and can expand to wider. You can adjust the shelf heights and placement of the bars (comes with two, one shown) and customize it how you want. Has a clean, crisp look to it once assembled and the build is easy and quick. Multipurpose and super functional! Box is HEAVY when delivered but easy to handle once opened.

It looks niceIt is very functionalIt is good sizeIt is not very sturdy, I mean it is lightweight, so you cannot keep too much heavy on the top, and it is recommended to keep something heavy on the bottomAfter six months of use, the rust is starting to come. I thought I would be able to keep this shelf for my whole life, but i dont know how long I can keep it now because of this horrible rustEdit: rust only comes where there is water, so it only rusts near the floor when we clean the floor
