Nice Lantern Looks Like Classic Coleman Gas Lantern
Talk about Classic…this lantern looks nearly like the original Coleman gas lanterns. Of course, this uses a rechargeable internal battery and LED bulb, the latter, unlike the original gas mantles, never needing replacement. Where the original lantern had a fuel filler and pressurizing pump, this has a a charging port for the lantern battery with charge status LEDs and a USB-A port to allow you to charge another device off the lantern battery – very useful. The rotational knob to control the light (Off/On/Low/Medium/High) is in the same location as the gas lantern. Unlike the old gas lanterns, this unit is very light weight. The unit puts out enough light to see what you are doing and illuminate your tent at night. There is a bail at the top, like the old gas lantern, to hang it from, but with this model the bail can be opened to make it easy to attach to the hanging point. With the light set on the brightest setting (800 lumens) the lantern is supposed to last for 5 hours, at medium (300 lumens) for 15 hours and on the lowest setting (100 lumens) for 45 hours. Those are pretty close to what I have experienced with it.All in all, a nice product to use both for camping out and even around the house outside.

Great emergency or car camping light
I own 2 of these. Got one for my son’s house for emergencies and decided I needed one as well. 3 settings High/ Med / Low and an emergency flash that I hope and assume I’ll never use.Low is plenty adequate for inside the house when power goes out or for any truly dark area in the woods. The recharge feature for a phone could really help in an emergency. It should run 2-3 days if you are smart in using it. I like the split carry handle that makes it easy to hang as well.Love the retro gas light look. Makes more sense for urban, interior use, and for overall light duty / America. BTW I own 2 gas Coleman lights and 2 gas stoves that I’ll never get rid of. My family however will use this super convenient LED. They will never mess with a gas light. Just remember to charge it before you loose power

Perfect latern!
I really love this lantern! Love the old fashioned style and its size. The light brightness levels are perfect. I like the storage compartment at the bottom and how long the light lasts on one charge. Additionally, it allows you to charge a phone from the lantern, which is a nice feature if needed. Beats using older lanterns with batteries. Would highly recommend!

I love the classic look
Wonderful rechargeable lamp that has the look of the classic Coleman lantern. Product is rechargeable with the USB cord provided. I love that there is a place in the bottom of the lantern to keep the charging cord so it always stays with the lantern. The level of light is adjustable and provides more than enough light to light up an entire room (or the whole tent). We plan to use these for backyard camping, but they will also come in handy when the power is out. Product is made of sturdy plastic but is still lightweight to carry or to hang.

Good rechargable replica of Coleman gas lantern
Very good but not great:Pros: Almost as bright as a gas lantern on high (800 vs 1000 lumens), 3 brightness settingsExcellent light pattern with slightly warm color temperature, much better coverage than a flashlightSturdy non-breakable construction, rechargeable (needs no fuel or batteries), has charge indicatorRoom in the base for a charger (not included) and cable (you may want a longer one)Very cute replica stylingCons: Plastic molding construction from ChinaNo 120V charger, just a very short indoor only USB cableExpensive compared to the alternatives

Great upgrade
I had a Coleman lantern for power outages that lasted me years but somehow lost it in my last move. I was skeptical when I purchased this one as it’s a bit smaller. We had a power outage recently and I was not disappointed. Great lighting ability, and it lasted for hours barely using the battery. Compact, light, bright.
