So far very impressed
So far, we are very impressed with this deck box. I put it together on my own with no problem in about 20 minutes of mom power. I see some people are stating the box is all one color. Those people clearly recieved the wrong product. This is two-toned and two textures. The sides are composit but look and feel like barnwood. It is very sturdy also. I suspect it will last. It is definitely not a tight seal. I think a mouse or other little creatures could get in but thankfully that isn’t a problem for us. I do believe it will keep water out though. The top came with a few blemishes from shipping but I figure it will get banged up a bit anyway. That should have been avoided with a little extra padding inside the box.. just an extra layer of cardboard could have saved it.

Color not like in the picture
The picture of this box shows a nice contrast between the frame and the box itself. Actually, it is all same color. This is not enough reason to send it back as it still looks pretty good. The assembly was a breeze. Beware though, wear old clothes while putting it together, there is some kind of black dust over the entire box. There was one broken part, a piece that attaches to the middle between the lid and the back of the box. I contacted the manufacturer and so far have received a boilerplate response that they will follow up. I was able to finish the assembly without this part and should be able to attach the replacement when it arrives. UPDATE: the manufacturer responded and sent a replacement part very quickly.

Incorrect color
I like the storage bench. However, The color (brown) is what I ordered and what I received is gray. On the outside of the box it was marked brown but it is definitely gray. I wanted brown to match the house and deck. But once we started to assemble, I was not going to take apart and return.

Sturdy deck/patio box
A well put together storage box that holds up well over time. I have an exact one that’s at least 6yrs old. Keeps things relatively dry and can be locked with a padlock. Easy to assemble and looks good. Lid has simple hydraulic close dampers. The price of these boxes are not cheap, but they do hold up well outside. Color fads a bit over time, but not a deal breaker. Perfect for patio cushions or items you need locked or kept dry. I liked the first one so much,I bought another. 2 people can sit on it according to directions,I think 300lb max.total. Its what I needed to protect cushions on the deck. I can recommend this product and would purchase another if needed.

Easy to assemble high quality product
Previewed all available videos prior to assembly. When I opened the packing container I was surprised to see how well it was packed. It was surrounded by styrofoam and not at all like the the videos which complained about the poor packing. Instructions were detailed and it took me no more than 15 minutes to assemble the box without assistance. The metal support bars were already installed on the box sides, so no gloves needed to insert them. The video’s showed how to install these metal bars which required using gloves. It is obvious to me that Keter is listening to its customers. A high quality good looking product.

Nice outdoor storage option
This outdoor storage unit is a nice solution to your outdoor needs. It was a little complicated to put together, but that’s what happens when you buy online. It is quite large and fits the cushions for our outdoor furniture, plus some other items. The unit is sealed nicely so I don’t see critters or insects getting into it.

Read the directions and familiarize yourself with all parts and their order of assembly.
I researched several makes of this item and decided to purchase this one. Assembly went fairly quick at less than 30 minutes with a Phillips #2 screwdriver. I don’t recommend using a cordless drill/driver for assembly due to the material is made of plastic/resin. Just tighten hand tight. Read the directions and familiarize yourself with the parts and their order of assembly.It hasn’t rained since the assembly was completed, so I can not say how weather resistant it is. I’ll be using mothballs in the bottom as a pest deterrent. I’ll be storing patio cushions and other outdoor essentials.

I got this through a warehouse deal at a very reasonable price. It had several cracks in the floor from the previous owner not knowing how to read instructions. Once assembled they were a non factor. Very sturdy and weatherproof.

Stunning looking outdoor storage box. Two major issues to consider before purchasing this box packaging is horrendous! This manufacturer needs to invest in learning how to safely be able to transport their product to the customer. Our first box was severely damaged and the lead was broken returned and second containers box look just as bad although the product wasn’t broken secondly, manufacturer states waterproof. It absolutely is not waterproof after a rain inch of water in the bottom of the storage box and there are no holes to let it drain out. You have to remove everything out of the container that’s soaked with water to be able to drain the water out. Another manufacturing update required.

This storage box is nice and large however when it rains and the water stays on the top, if we open the box some water falls into the box.
