Beautiful stylish light
This chandelier is beautiful and really unique; it has a retro vibe, and the elongated design makes it perfect for high ceilings. The frosted glass globes are high-quality, and I love that they even came with the bulbs included, which not all lights do. Assembly does take some work since the arms have to be fastened to the base with tiny screws, but once it’s together, it feels sturdy. Overall, it’s very stylish and it’s a real conversation piece. It gives off great light, works perfectly in my dining room, and at this price point, it’s hard to find a chandelier with this kind of look and quality!

I have not installed the light fixture yet, but it appears to be exactly what you would find at your big box retailer I find a lot of the stuff at the retailers is exactly what’s being sold on Amazon.once it’s installed, all updates review with some photos.

Lovely light with some assembly challenges
This is a really beautiful chandelier, and the glass globes are thick and very high-quality. This is an unusual shape of chandelier because it’s taller than it is wide, which makes it really useful for small spaces with high ceilings, or if you just want a special look. It comes with the special bulbs, which is a very nice and kind thing that the manufacturer did for us.TLDR on assembly process: I’m keeping this light because I have a small room with a very high ceiling and getting a chandelier with a more vertical style that is an affordable price, and not dead ugly is very hard. If I had more attractive options at good prices I might pass on this light. The assembly just didn’t inspire confidence.I’m really good at putting products together, and I rarely get frustrated, but I have to say this one was harder than most.First be very careful to make sure you are opening the top of the box. There’s nothing on the bottom of the box to tell you to flip it over, and mine came upside down in its Amazon box. If you accidentally pull the BOTTOM piece of Styrofoam off the fixture, the glass balls are nested inside it and can fall out. One of mine fell, and I nearly had a heart attack, but it didn’t break. Whew!If you’re wondering why the Allen wrench is in a little baggie by itself, it’s because the super tiny set screws are also in that baggie. Do not spill them on the floor like I did! If you do spill them, and you only find two, do not panic like I did because those are extras. There are only two of them and you probably don’t need them.This chandelier was fully assembled in the factory, except the arms of the chandelier are not fastened to the base. They left some extra wire so that the arms can be gathered up and folded around it the base in the package. This means you have to take the whole bundle out and carefully shove the extra wire into the chandelier base until each arm is fully seated, and then use a set screw to firmly attach the arm to the base. Getting the cord into the base is quite hard, and you really need a second set of hands to hold the chandelier arm in place and square while the set screw is turned. Even after you have done all that it doesn’t feel the most sturdy that I would hope for. You have to turn the set screws very tightly to ensure the arms are held firm, but you also have to be careful to not strip the metal.I think it’s sturdy enough to hang on the ceiling… Nobody’s going to be hanging from the chandelier or bonking it around, but it does take some patience, some help, and being very careful to get this assembled in a good way. I have not assembled a lot of chandeliers, but there has to be a better way… I am thinking bigger set screws would be good.Disassembling it to put back in the box until it can be installed was also a challenge. It’s very hard to pull the extra wire back out of the base after you have shoved it in. Honestly, you feel like you’re going to break it.You have to be very careful to not lose the teeny weenie set screws when you loosen them.The parts of this light were wrapped in plastic before being assembled that the factory, and the only way to look at the light and get a feel for what it is, is to take all that plastic off in a destructive way. If for some reason you need to put the light back in its box, it’s impossible to re-use the plastic and prevent it from getting scratched in the box. My tip for you is to use press and seal plastic wrap from your kitchen.
