Definitely an indoor cushion
TLDR: I would consider this a firmer cushion (which I like). The foam chunks is a lot more comfortable than if it were a solid block of foam, still supportive but not too-firm. The listing says the cover is made of linen but I’m not so sure, considering the low price point of a cushion this size. It has a sheen to it as well, could be cotton, maybe some synthetic. I dripped some water onto it and it absorbed into the fabric right away so it seems at least there isn’t some kind of surface treatment, this is a plus for me.I am a floor goblin and this is my new tush cush. It’s firm, especially against the floor, but I like it. Oh and it didn’t have a crazy smell right out of the packaging, I didn’t notice any smell at all actually (for the past 5 years now my default expectation for ordering a textile/foam/any soft product online is that it will smell like the factory and need to be aired outside for a few days. I do this anyway though bc so many things inherently have VOCs from how they’re made, squishy things especially.)It expanded as expected. I took some progression pictures, right after unrolling it, after kneading it for like 5 minutes, and then just now about 3 days later. However I did start sitting on it right away and so did my cats so it’ll probably grow a bit more. 3 days 11/22/25 to 11/23/25: 47” x 17” x 3.5”I think I was sent the wrong size, I’m 99% sure I chose the 42”x16” size and the cushion I got is closer to a 48”x18” size they mention once way down deep in the description. But also that size doesn’t seem to be an option available to buy right now? In my situation I don’t mind because I got this to be a tush cush for the floor, but I guess if yours is too big for your bench get out the tape measure, you’re probably not crazy lol.The covering isn’t linen, obviously at this price I didn’t think it would be but the listing is misleading and this isn’t obvious to everybody so if they could just say what the fabric is actually made of that would be nice. I sprayed it with some water and it soaked in right away, which on the one hand that tells me at least it’s not covered in some kind of water resistant treatment and maybe has a higher cotton content than I originally thought, but now I’m setting it next to the air vent to make sure it actually dries out and doesn’t grow into a mold family.

Great value – great product
The 4″ Lokex bench cushion is made of linen with foam and silk floss filling, making it soft to the touch while holding its shape. After the 72-hour expansion period, you’ll have a quality tufted cushion that can be used in several ways. This definitely ISN’T like my grandma’s 1970’s cushions – it’s comfortable, updated, and should complement most decorating styles.I was looking for something to place on the back of our small gray sofa because we use it to put our shoes on, but the back is awkwardly deep. Our cat also loves to sit on it, so using pillows meant straightening them all of the time and a body pillow was too thick. Being able to tuck the ties on this bench cushion into the back of the sofa to anchor it is the perfect solution. My cat also enjoys having multiple beds and hiding places, so placing this cushion on top of my metal trunk (tucking the ties through the back lid) would give her a safe place in the closet to sleep.I gave this product 5 stars because I’ve bought a few pillows and a new cat bed recently – each cost over $50. I also bought seat cushions for my covered outdoor patio chairs and they were 3x the price, 1/2 the thickness, and 1/3 the size. I could go on and on about the total value but instead I recommend you do yourself a favor, measure the area you may want to use it and buy the size that works for you.

Stays lumpy
This bench cushion has specific instructions you have to follow to get it to the right thickness and look. I followed those instructions exactly. It did thicken up to the full 4 inches. So that was nice. The color is attractive. The material is sturdy, thick and well made. The issue I have is the stuffing. It is slightly lumpy. I followed the instructions exactly and it was still lumpy. I kind of don’t like the feel. It is comfortable to sit on once I put a blanket over it since the lumpiness bothers me. I like it, I just wish it wasn’t slightly lumpy. The fit is perfect, the color is just as described. It matches the other cushion I have which is why I got it. Those are all positives. I’m hoping the lumps go away with use. Overall it was worth getting because I really needed a matching bench cushion for the one I already have. If the lumpiness goes away with use then I’ll be even more happy with it.

Nothing to really complain about, it is as described all around
I did not buy this for a bench, rather I needed something for in front of an unused fireplace for my kids or guests during the holidays.Seats run out and kids like doing kid things, so it is nice to have an extra place for people to sit. In my case, we have a long stone fireplace hearth. While it looks inviting to sit at, it is cold, numbingly cold usually in the winter and wildly unforgiving, because well, it is stone.So here comes a bench cushion to save the rears of whomever sits about my hearth. The size is exactly what it is, I cannot bother complaining, it measures out how it says it did. ANy fitament issues are fully on me using it in a manner it was not intended.It looks nice enough, not cheap, not high end. Simply functional.All in all, I haven’t any real complaints with the product itself.The packaging was kind of wild though. It comes in a vacuum pack, which itself is stuffed in a nylon bag, which claimed to be simple to tear open, without any sharp objects. Yeah…. I tried and tried and tried some more and as I was questioning my machismo, I broke and cut that joker open.
