Chic and good quality
We bought this two years ago, and I always appreciate reviewers who’ve had the product awhile so you can get a feel for how it holds up over time.First, the sofa materials are good quality. The cushions are stiff but comfortable, and they retain their form well over time. We got the cushions in white, and the canvasy material repels dirt and is easy to spot clean (really, wipe, since it doesn’t take much).The frame is sturdy and rigid, and the faux wicker looks as good as the day we bought it – no loose pieces, as can sometimes happen with lower quality products.This sofa is a steal for the price. It looks a lot like much more expensive outdoor sofas, at a quarter of the cost.

Beautiful but can crumble apart
This sofa is beautiful and I actually own two of them. However, the one I bought in 2022 is completely destroyed. It looks like it’s been through ten years of pure climate torture and potentially a war. It is quite obvious that there is a factory defect as the rattan has completely disintegrated and broken apart (this happened within 2 years!); the powder coating from the frame of the couch is also dissolving. For reference, I live in San Diego, which is known for its lovely moderate temperatures all year round. There is absolutely no reason this couch should look the way it does, especially because I have gone out of my way to cover it when not in use. It has been used sparingly since 2022. Interestingly enough, the one I bought in 2021 is still in good shape. This points to an obvious manufacturer flaw, especially considering the fact that this company touts that the couch is fade, water, and UV resistant. Per my photo, this has not proven to be true with this particular couch.Disappointed with this outcome, I wrote to Modway about this. I received a standard reply about their one-year warranty and basically a “too bad” response. This was terrible customer service, especially considering the clear evidence of a non-standard manufacturer’s defect in the extensive issues depicted in the photo I provided. Given the nature and extent of these defects, it is evident that the problem is not due to normal wear and tear but a flaw in the product’s construction. I went back and forth with customer service and each time, I got the standard, “our policy is one year” blah blah. Their unwillingness to stand behind their product a mere three years after purchasing it was laughable. So, Amazon customers, if you want to shell out $700+ on a couch with a one year warranty – be warned that it can potentiallylook like my couch within three years and this company will do NOTHING to help you other than apologize. At this price point, the couch should last longer than three years, especially in a climate that is 50-70 degrees all year round. Honestly, at any price point, something that is supposedly UV resistant should last longer than three years. I feel it’s important for others to be aware of the lack of support as it pertains to manufacturing defects and customer safety, since this product is unusable in its current condition. Modway’s policy and standard response to an extraordinary circumstance says more about them and their reputation than about me. There is very little accountability…literally 12 months of it. For that reason, I will be telling everyone to avoid this brand because one thing is clear: you just don’t know if you’ll be getting a dud or a diamond.

So incredibly beautiful
I bought the couch.. the loveseat.. chair..side table and coffee table. I absolutely love it . So well made! Packaging was so precise. Most pieces are already put together, which was so nice. I also bought covers for everything since I live in Minnesota and the weather has been rainy. The cushions are waterproof and I read that people thought they were kind of stiff .. I find it comfortable… it’s outdoor furniture and I find it to be perfect! 10/10. So glad I took a chance and ordered all of this .. my little sanctuary .. piece of heaven 🤍

Pretty but Delivery Timelines are a joke
Modern with a nice detail on the faux wicker. Just what we wanted for one of our smaller outdoor spaces. Looks great and is very comfortable, however, delivery has been an absolute joke! It was scheduled for for June 28th with Prime. It was delivered July 10th!!!! If you are in a hurry, move on to something else.

The couch is so so beautiful. It’s not really that comfortable, but the fabric on is is a high quality form of sunbrella.. wish I could of afford the other pieces but then I found my color pattern. That was so affordable and same style 😍😍😍😍 so happy with my purchase…thank u…Melissa c

Pretty & Good Quality
While it’s not super comfortable (not exactly uncomfortable), it is really nice looking! It is very light, came assembled, delivery was on time. Overall I’m really happy I bought this couch!

Very low couch- awkward looking with no legs sits low to ground
As soon as I opened the box I was disappointed!! I thought it was missing legs or the bottom was missing but no – it’s a very very low couch. I thought it looked tiny and awkward in the room and so sad because the style is nice. The back cushions are flimsy as well and fall down when not sitting – will try to return 😢😢😢

UPDATE: not built to last
It’s now two years later (April 2022) and thought I’d come back. I am downgrading to three stars. Sofa structure is sound but the cushions are junk and falling apart. The covers have a poor design making their removal almost impossible without tearing the zipper or fabric. Also the larger seat cushion became compressed and I felt like I was sliding down given how low the sofa is, I had to put plywood underneath for support. It needs to be about 3 inches higher. If manufacturer simply redesigned the cushion cover it would have better sustainability but ultimately decided to get rid of and replaced with another set sofa easier to maintain.——The sofa came in one box fully assembled. I was able to easily remove it out of box and place where needed. Beautifully constructed. Very happy with purchase. Just note this sofa is low profile. I’m only 5’4” so not an issue but taller person might need adjustments.
