Its a nice chair.
This chair is comfy, in multiple positions. The color is very nice. Be careful, once, while closing the chair, it snapped on my finger and it bled.

Very sturdy and I love the added pillow and head opening!
This chair is everything I wanted. It is very sturdy. And the aluminum doesn’t get hot in the sun. I wasn’t sure if I’d really like the pillow and opening, but I do. It makes is so much easier to lay on my stomach. Just remember that you have to fold both the head and foot section all the way inward toward the middle, and then back out to the position you want when you are changing positions. I would definitely order this again. I was lucky, though, and bought it on prime day at a nice discount. Totally worth it!

Comfortable and Portable, But Durability Could Be Better
This is my second time purchasing the Ostrich Beach Lounge Chair because I really like how comfortable and adjustable it is. It’s lightweight, easy to fold, and perfect for the lawn, pool, or patio.However, the chair only lasted about a year or two before showing signs of dry rot, even though I stored it properly in my garage when not in use. For the price, I was hoping for better durability.If you want a comfy, portable chair and don’t mind replacing it every couple of years, this is a solid choice — but just be aware it might not last as long as expected outdoors.

Durable, plenty of room for comfort, great height.
I bought this a little over a year ago and have used it constantly through the end of November and had it back out in April. I have used it all summer, dumped water on myself lying in the sun and even had the water hose running on me while lying on it to stay cool with this super hot summer weather we just had. It shows no signs of rust and has not faded. I did leave it outside in the weather if rain was not expected. I am 5’9” and run 190-200 lbs most of the time. In spite of the amount of use and running water on it, it is just as taut now as it was the day I got it. It does not sag anywhere. It is more than long enough and the fabric is thick but not hot. The steel frame does get hot so I cover it with a towel. It is wide enough that I am comfortable on it. I have joint issues, including the spine and have felt supported. It did not aggravate my back. I have had no trouble with it folding up on me when I sit down on it, and can easily sit down on it and stand up without trouble which I cannot do with a standard sized lounge chair. It is weird to fold up and took a minute to get the hang of it and how to carry it without it unfolding on me. It is heavy, but if you want something to support that much weight, it has to be. I am not very strong, but I can lift it without trouble and carry it into the house. The pocket on the side is perfect to put my phone in and shields it from the sun so it doesn’t overheat as I listen to audiobooks and music while out.The only improvement I can mention is it would be nice if the pockets on the side had Velcro or a snap or something to close it.I am thrilled with this purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for these features.

Terrible Customer Service
I never write reviews, but I had such a terrible experience with customer service that I thought I needed to share. I purchased this chair and it arrived to me broken (chair wouldn’t fold out flat all the way, a metal piece seemed to be bent and stuck). I went to Amazon customer support to return it, but the return had to go through the seller, Ostrich. I reached out to Ostrich to process my return and get me a replacement chair and they didn’t respond for days. I followed up, and when they finally did respond, they asked for information that I had already provided in my initial email (I guess they just didn’t read it?) – prompting a lot of back and forth without a clear ask on their end with what information they actually needed. When we finally got all the basic information squared away, all they could do (per their warranty) is issue me a coupon code for a new chair through their website, less shipping… Okay, sure.Went to the Ostrich website to purchase a replacement, they had limited inventory so couldn’t get the same colorway (annoying but whatever), put in the coupon code they gave me, and it was going to cost me an additional $30 to get a new chair… Not trying to sound like a Karen here, but not sure how it makes sense that a customer would spend $70 to get a broken chair and then have to pay another $30 to get it replaced. (The quality of this chair is definitely not worth $100 and neither is trying to figure out how to dispose of the broken thing).I opened up my concern with Ostrich on June 6, 2024 – it is now June 24, 2024 and this issue is still not resolved with them.I contacted Amazon again and they made it right, but it definitely turned me off from this brand. All around pretty exhausting experience with a very lack-luster outcome. and the chair itself is pretty cheap – it’s lightweight but not super sturdy or comfortable. Definitely look elsewhere.

Just buy it already!
This has been a staple for the past 4 years! I love laying out on my deck to tan but any other chair is uncomfortable and leaves weird tan lines but laying on the ground is miserable. This? i recommend it to every and anyone! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve taken a nap while tanning both on my back and stomach because it’s so comfortable! I get the best tan too!

I love this chair and wish I would’ve bought one sooner. My favorite activity is reading outside in the summer but my neck get so sore in a regular lawn chair. With the hole and cutout – this makes lying on my tummy a breeze and easier to read! I read a lot more books with it. It’s good quality, the color is beautiful – a bright summery red, it folds and stores well – making it compact and easier to travel with.

It came with a colored instruction sheet that says, “Open the chaise legs fully to the red line,” and they even helpfully marked the red line with a marker. To adjust the backrest, you have to close it all the way first, then open it again to the angle you like. The fabric seems easy to clean. It’s sturdy but still light enough for anyone to carry around easily.

I’m 5 foot 4 and found the bed just the wrong length if you want to use head hole. Uncomfortable on feet/ shins with bottom bar. Also its narrow as a bed which it doesn’t need to be with arm holes. It’s good but not perfect so for the price I was a bit disappointed
