Very attractive and useful
Easy to assemble, well made and very attractive storage solution for bedroom, living room or mud room. I use it to store my shoes out of the way and safe from the dog. The storage tray on top is great for household items like tools, appliance manuals, and other items used frequently and needing a space.

Love it. Exactly as pictured. Cushion is firm and lightweight with non slip material in bottom to make opening easy. Some of the holes didn’t align perfectly so it’s easier to use a drill to push through rather than the included Allen key and Phillips. Don’t screw together one side all the way before the other. Attach loosely and then do other side to make sure things line up. Also, if you wear larger shoes then maybe check the dimensions. I wear a men’s 10 and my slip-on sneakers fit fine but my running shoes barely fit exactly snug on the bottom rack with the doors closed because of door frame. Fit a bit better on the top rack. If you have bigger shoes then maybe angle them a bit. Overall very happy with functionality and quality. Looks good and has airflow.

Great bench!
I rarely give reviews but this bench was pure quality with easy to follow instructions. Very sturdy ample space for shoes and the lift up cover give extra room for storage. I recommend this product.

Good quality but doesn’t fit much.
It’s easy to build but it doesn’t really not too spacious for regular size shoes. Even my daughters shoes one is 9 and the other is 12 don’t fit. I thought I would like the design but that’s what hinders the amount if shoes that can go in there. The design is nice and it very sturdy which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Some of the holes were drilled too small but we managed. A lot of hand strength, especially w Allen wrenches which are hard on the hands. We used longer-handled screwdriver and it was easier.Looks great! And fits in the spot I thought it would!Very sturdy and great value!

Pre-drilled holes not located in proper place; impossible to construct.
The pre-drilled holes designed to connect the side pieces to the top bench part do not all properly line up. This makes it impossible to construct the bench. Removing the back piece, which fits into the slotted trenches of the bottom piece and side pieces, is one solution to making the holes flush; but when you do this, the middle piece which creates the 2 tiers constantly slides out and falls because it rests on these knobs that stick out and is therefore unstable. It looks very nice but this bench was impossible to construct.

Good for the price point, assembly is a little frustrating
If you’re a single parent read this !! This shoe bench is a little smaller than I wanted but I searched high and low to find a “real wood” (even tho it’s bamboo) storage chest in my price range that matched my grey and bamboo laundry hamper. So it came nicely packaged all in bubble wrap and opening at first I was surprised to see the top peice with the hinges all assembled already. Now opening the rest was a bit overwhelming at first a lot of small parts and directions that were ok but not perfect. Me being a single mom I don’t have the luxury of another set of hands which is really needed putting this together. The most challenging part is getting that top piece all snug onto the back and the doors that kept falling off ! It took me two sessions to complete it cus I do not enjoy diy projects but in total about a hour. The trick to the top piece is to put a flat head screwdriver holding the little metal pieces that you have to screw through to fasten all together while it’s laying in the bench to free your hands. So now that is all done it is for the price range a good quality piece a little thicker than that manufactured stuff. The dimensions are ok but once you add the top and the shelf it takes away from the total space you can actually store stuff. You can remove the shelf in the middle if you prefer. As far as sitting on it, I’m 170 lbs and I wouldn’t chance it lol, all the parts were in the package nothing missing and even a few extras. The color is exactly what I was looking for so I sacrificed getting a normal storage chest. I would have given five stars if the back piece was a little thicker making me feel a little more comfortable sitting on it.
