Works great! Understand it operates completely on sunlight.
This solar bird bath fountain is working great. My birdbath is fairly shallow but there’s still plenty of room for the fountain. There are several nozzles to choose from depending on how high/wide you want the water to come out. I really just wanted a sort of ‘bubbler’ type action which none of the nozzles did however, we used just the adapter and it’s working just like I wanted. Rather than shooting up into the air it just sort of bubbles up and out of the adapter.If you’re looking for something that operates even on very cloudy days, don’t buy this one. It runs totally off sunlight. There is no battery storage so when there’s no sun the fountain doesn’t work. It might still work in light shade but definitely not heavy shade. My birdbath is in full sun most of the day so that’s not an issue.Just don’t let the birdbath go dry!

Worked from the get-go!
Immediately started its fountain upon hitting the water, and definitely is dependent on the sun rays, stops when a quick cloud moves overhead.Lovely little sounds of falling water.

Good little fountain
This fountain works great. Birds are attracted to running water, so this is the perfect little fountain for a bird bath. The only downside I’ve found is when the sun is behind clouds, the fountain doesn’t work. It doesn’t store up battery power from the sun. But, once the clouds are gone, it starts working again. It’s worth the low price.

Works great until it doesn’t – died after two months
Very nice fountain but died after two months. We put it in a bird bath and enjoyed watching all the creatures splash around. There was weekly, sometimes twice a week, maintenance on the device – cleaning out algae, wiping down the solar panel, clearing gunk from the pump, etc. but after a few weeks it no longer works.Super bummed out as the return window has passed. Not sur what the warranty is on the device but it would be cool to have w functioning fountain again.If you get it make sure to keep in mind that it may not last a long time.

Fun Fountain
I love this handy dandy little water mover. It comes with several different varieties of water tips so it can burble or spray like a fountain. I put it in my birdbath and it runs quite well and vigorously in direct sunlight. It works at a little slower rate when it clouds over. The birds were at first afraid of it and now they flock to it. I enjoy the sound when I sit on the porch. I love the fact it is solar and I don’t have to replace batteries or charge. It is plastic and probably not good if you drop it or bang it around, but sturdy enough for the price.

Cheap gadget, don’t expect it to last very long
This is a cool little fountain when it’s working but it has a few issues:1) fountain will only spout water when in direct Sun; as soon as it’s in the shade, the water stops2) even if water has evaporated, if exposed to the sun, the motor works at trying to push water through which seems like a waste of the motor when it’s not acting as an actual fountain; expect this to last a season if lucky (u turned upside down when birdbath dry/I’m away on vacation)3) trim as little of the straws as needed to draw the water in – it won’t stayed centered in the middle of the birdbath and relies on those straws pushing off the sides of the birdbath to center itYou get what you pay for 😉

Overall, would recommend. Easy to assemble, lightweight so it floats in a bird bath perfectly! The multiple settings for water spray is easy to change & really nice to have options. Great price! Negative- it has tubes to suck up water, they get clogged easily & fall off often. Needs direct sunlight often to work well as well. But overall, love it & would buy for other bird baths or gifts.
