weak spot on the seam
looks nice. easy to use. only complaint is that the seams are a bit weak. partially my fault, assembling solo and just trying to get it standing, and my project was leaning before i secured it well. had 3/4 of a square done, and it ended up falling and one of the brackets got twisted and damaged. i like them, so ill be buying more to go on bottom pieces too and get a good stable bottom this time, before going vertical. but i wish the seams were more durable.

Used these as a cheaper alternative to “brand name” brackets. I’m not under any impression that these are, in the grand scheme of things, just as high quality – but for the price they seem to be quite well made, include all the parts you need, and worked for the plans I had. We now have a nice 24×14 patio cover with the rafters I added to support some twinwall polycarbonate panels (clear). The long-term durability remains to be seen, but as of right now I have no concerns and would think they’ll last for years…

these brakets make it so easy to build a good looking pergola
i am glad I purchased these brackets to extend my pergola design and make it longer. The brackets are sturdy and the wood beams fit easily into the ends. We had several days of rain and so far no rust is visible on the brackets.
